How common is it to have induction cancelled?

So with my first child I had my induction (being induced cause I was 12 days over) cancelled twice and ended up at another hospital..
I'm now 10 days over with second child and I feel rubbish.. Hips killing, can't sleep, dizzy, vomiting. Felt like this for a week now.. last checked 3 days ago at sweep and as all of my clinical parameters (BP, temp ect) are fine there is no reason to induce me early..
baby fine.. kicking lots..
Booked in for induction tomorrow.. phone today to double check this was right to be told high chance of it being cancelled!
Just needing a rant really..
How often does this happen to people?
Is it just me that it has happened to twice?
Feel so useless.. why doesn't my body work right!?! Why can't I just tell it to go into labour..
Doing lots of walking and all the other quoted methods to bring on labour.

It's pretty common unfortunately. Both people I know who were induced were on standby for a couple of days waiting for the hospital to call and say they had space for them.

Likely quite common I'm afraid -- the same thing happened to me when I was 42 weeks. Turned out to be a blessing as our car died that day! I can understand how frustrating this must be for you, though. I suppose you have to trust the staff to know when they will be best equipped to care for you and little one. Best of luck!
