No movement at 22+3 weeks?

Hi all,

I went into hospital at about 19 weeks because of premature labour contractions. It was a very severe UTI in the end, and if I hadn't of got treatment, I'd have lost DS.

I'm now 22+3 and I haven't felt any movement since yesterday morning.

DH thinks it's fine and that I should get it checked if I need to but not to worry.

He said it's happened before and he was okay, which it had, but I went into hospital in a panic at 20 weeks due to not feeling him move for a few hours. This has been a day now.

I'm not being over dramatic, am I?

I know their movements change a lot etc etc but he is usually always a very active baby and moves a lot after food/whilst I'm in a nice bath.

I can't even get him to move by having a cold, sugary drink.

Should I call midwife or go straight in?

Thank you Flowers

Glad everything is ok, and you are in the right place with the right care. Flowers

Sounds like you are in the right place. Good thing you're being monitored now. Hopefully things stabilise soon. Make sure they review your HG while you're in there, are they putting you on a drip?

I'm so glad you went in to be checked and that they're taking it seriously and that baby is ok. Hopefully it'll just be a case of resting and looking after yourself for a while
