Am I Pregnant?

Hi all, I'm new to the site and have a few questions I was hoping you could answer! I'm a 17 year old female who takes the pill (cerelle) I'm strict with how I take it and was originally prescribed it for bad period cramps. However, I recently became sexually active with someone I'm no longer seeing. We had sex around three weeks ago and I'm concerned that I could be pregnant. I've been needing the bathroom more than usual, lots of heartburn and I'm verg gassy. I am thinking about taking a pregnancy test just to put my mind at rest however, I'm on the pill which has caused me to not have a period at all so I will never be able to tell when I'm ovulating. The issue is I don't know when would be best to take the test so that it is most accurate. Do any of you have any advice on when I should take the test? X

Really the only way to tell is to take a test. They're the most accurate/easy to read first thing in the morning when your wee is more concentrated as you haven't weed all night.

Thank you! Will the fact I don't know when I'm ovulating/have ovulated cause any inaccuracy?

The timing shouldn't make much difference (as in you are either pregnant or you're not).
Tests may give you a false negative, but a positive is a positive always.

Good luck!

The recommendation is to test at least 21 days after you last had unprotected sex. So you should be able to test now and get an accurate result. Leave it a week if you want to be really sure.

It would be very unlikely (though possible) to get symptoms like you're describing so early in pregnancy.
