Raw chicken in pregnancy, please advise

I always bring my own food to work, but today we had a day out and unfortunately I did not bring anything with me. I could not have most things from the buffet, so opted for chicken- and as I bit into the drumstick, I noticed that while the surface was cooked, the inside close to the bone was totally raw (not just a tiny bit pink, but proper raw).
I immediately spat it all out, so technically did not eat it, but had it in my mouth.

A few hours later, I did throw up once- but I am generally feeling 'morning sick' in the evenings as a rule rather than in the morning, and often end up wrestling with retching- but always actually manage to keep the food in.
So either this is just an unlucky coincidence, or stress, or am I and the baby in trouble?
Any advise appreciated. Would try to see GP before posting, but the next available appointment is in 4 weeks, and can't get through to my midwife...

You'll be absolutely fine, if you'd got sick from raw chicken you'd have been properly ill, not just thrown up once. Chicken by the bone is often pinky red in colour so may not have been raw.

Food poisoning is meant to take 24-48 hours to kick in so you should be ok, worth seeing GP if you're worried and complaining in writing to the catering company.
