So successful pregnancy 1 I had pretty much zero nausea, successful pregnancy 2 I had quite bad nausea and was having my HCG monitored so I know it was high for a single pregnancy. I'm now pregnant again and god I'm so sick of feeling sick.

I'm not throwing up but I feel so ill and tired. I've been dragging myself round for 2 weeks and I'm over it already. When does it start to subside?

Usually around 12 weeks. I know it's the last thing you want to do but eat, eat, eat it will make you feel better. Plain crisps, toast, jacket potato, whatever you can bare to eat!

SleepFreeZone · 08/07/2017 15:00

Argh another month of this 😞

Last time for me it was 16 weeks. I'm about 8 weeks too now and hoping it ends a lot sooner this time around...

Bobbiepin · 08/07/2017 15:40

Anti sickness accupressure wristbands were the only thing that worked for me. Hope you feel better soon

MintyVixxxx · 08/07/2017 18:11

Urgh worst part of the whole thing. I had relentless nausea til around 15 weeks. Felt like I was actually dying on my worst days. Was never sick though which I'm not sure if that's worst as theres no relief at all. Above poster is right tho, it makes you feel a zillion times worse if you're hungry so force food down religiously every hour. You won't feel like it but it will be worse if you don't. Things that helped me were small sips of Lucozade Orange Sport, the still one. Lemon flavour ice lollies. Plain crisps. Small sips of chicken soup. You'll get through it op.

It eased for me after about 16 weeks. However it still hasn't gone totally. I've been sicked 3 mornings this week and threw up in a carrier bag in the car last night and on the doorstep when we got home Sad
I've been on antibiotics though, so I'm hoping they caused this slight setback!

TLH0307 · 08/07/2017 23:52

I feel you! 8 weeks and I've had horrendous nausea for the past 3 weeks. Started throwing up today just to add insult to injury! Ugh. Someone on a previous thread suggested "sea bands" to me. They do help quite a lot actually. Anything is worth a try in these sicky early weeks!

DoubleR · 09/07/2017 00:05

Until the delivery room for me (38 weeks), awful nausea, I threw up some days but it didn't give me any relief, meat, milk and bread made it worse. The acupressure wrist bands helped slightly, but it was so bad that I was scared to take them off for the whole pregnancy. On the plus side because I couldn't eat much I didn't get any stretch marks Smile and DD was a good healthy weight.

gluteustothemaximus · 09/07/2017 00:10

All 3 pregnancies were shite had HG.

Always around 3-4 weeks (knew was pregnant before test) and lasted till 20 weeks.

Try looking up info on vitamin B6 for nausea.

Try not to let stomach be empty. Nausea is evil on empty stomach.

Congratulations...hope it lets up sooner rather than later for you x

DoubleR · 09/07/2017 00:12

God, sorry, that sounds so negative. Despite all that I did do it again Smile

Bosabosa · 09/07/2017 00:14

16 weeks for me. It will pass. Congratulations!

chocolatespiders · 09/07/2017 00:14

I had this and acupuncture helped

Bettyswaggler · 09/07/2017 00:16

Never stoped for me unfortunately still going during labour. It projected straight into my over night bag and I'll never forget my partner looked down and said " oh it's in the gusset" 😂😂 the only trick i did manage was ginger biscuits, partner would wake me up before he went to work and I was due to wake up to make me eat a biscuit. Helped loads for when I actually got up. I really feel your pain it's so draining and tiering. Stay strong you can do it!!!! Xx

happy2bhomely · 09/07/2017 00:19

I had horrible nausea with all 5 of my pregnancies. Dizzy, room spinning, mouth watering, holding on to things as I walked kind of nausea.I vomited maybe once every other day for the first 3 or 4 months. Eating helped lots, especially salty foods.

It ended after I vomited during transition in labour. I felt fabulous after giving birth because it felt like the end of a 9 month long hangover.

It is awful. I hope you feel better soon.

mummabubs · 09/07/2017 06:50

The nausea definitely dampened down around 16 weeks for me but I'm still being sick most days at 27 weeks. I do vividly remember how horrible it was to feel sick all the time though, nightmare. If it helps OP I found eating plain boiled spaghetti and sucking/sipping ice lollies and fizzy drinks were pretty much the only things I could stomach for most of the first trimester. I really hope it dies down for you soon xx

Mulch · 09/07/2017 08:20

Mind peaked at 9weeks

Jellybabie3 · 09/07/2017 09:49

I had it til about 14 weeks. Hang in there. You will feel great when it passes x

beekeeper17 · 09/07/2017 09:55

Both times for me, I felt much better by around 10 weeks. It was the exhaustion that really got me, and some nausea. Hope it eases for you soon, it's rough!

InThisTogether · 09/07/2017 10:02

By about 12 weeks it had eased off for me. Good luck op!

ScotsLamb · 09/07/2017 11:50

I'm 16 weeks today and can still get some nausea when I'm tired or I do too much. Still struggling with eating normal portions and like other have said salty food helps.
I'm currently on antibiotics for a urine infection and trying to take those is a nightmare. I've thrown up more than I've swallowed.
It's the all day nausea that got me worse than the sickness actually. Never feeling 100%.
Lots of people say 12 weeks is when it reduces but it peaked for me at 12 weeks and is tailing off now. I got anti sickness tablets at 14 weeks which stopped the sickness but nausea was still there. I was also signed off work and that was the best for sickness. I got to sleep and sleep and sleep. It really helped.

Good luck and sorry for the negatives.

peachgreen · 09/07/2017 12:48

I'm still nauseous at 12 weeks but weeks 7-8 were the hardest to handle for me. I wouldn't say it had got better but I've got so much better at coping with it, if that makes sense. Hang in there OP!

EveMoneypenny · 09/07/2017 12:51

To give you some hope, mine was constant from 6.5 weeks to 8 weeks, disappeared for a week, then returned on and off for another couple of weeks, usually in the evenings. Completely gone by 11-12 weeks. Hang in there!

Oliversmumsarmy · 09/07/2017 12:59

Pregnancy 1 threw up everything from 3 days to 20 weeks. If it went down it came up.
By the time I was 20 weeks I had lost 2stone in weight. Then put on 6stone from that point to the end of the pregnancy.

Felt so ill throughout 2nd pregnancy only time I didn't feel shit was when I was eating.

I ended up 6stone heavier.

I really feel for anyone going through this. I think some people don't realise how long you can spend getting to know the inside of a toilet bowl or just how crap you can feel when pregnant.

Dudleygirl85 · 09/07/2017 13:05

All pregnancies are different. With my first I didn't have any sickness, my second I had sickness for about 7 and a half months, and now I'm 37 and a half weeks pregnant and I've had sickness from the start and still got it now.
