Worry wart over here. It seems I post all my worries on here!
Anyway, long story short, I went in to the maternity unit last week (I was 31 weeks) due to reduced fetal movements. I had a CGT scan and told to press the button when I felt movement. Movements finally hit the critera at 56 mins so they were happy enough with movements but were concerned to see that during this time for around about 2-3 minutes and for no reason at all that they know of baby's heart rate dropped from her average of 155bpm down to 110bpm.
We weren't really given too many answers just was told to keep an eye on movements. Which have been regular and strong since that day.
However, we have a doppler that I am borrowing from my mother in law as she was studying to become a midwife before she fell pregnant again. We've only been using it a couple minutes a day when we haven't felt any movement for over an hour or two as it saves a trip to the hospital. Today we had a listen in and everything was normal at her usual regular beat of 155bpm until after about 2 minutes we heard her heart beat slow right down to 110bpm and was getting slower and skipping a beat every 3 beats. At this point I pulled of because It was scaring me.
We checked again shortly after and her heart rate was back to her normal regular 155bpm. I was just wondering if anyone knows what this is or has experienced it? What was the result or cause? Am a very worried.
