Hi, just wondering if anyone has one of these. I think they must be relatively new as I can't find any reviews on line. I saw it in Mothercare last week and much prefer it to the other options plus you can adjust the height to make it higher at one end incase of colic.

I'm a ftm due in November so would appreciate your feedback. Thanks

@IceLemonGin oh no that's not good at all I'm due in 6 weeks and yes the customer service team are useless, I have had success in my last email as I threatened trading standards, as they happily took the money straight away.

I looked at all of the next to me cribs and this one looked the best but maybe if my order doesn't arrive i will have to look for something else!

Very frustrating!

IceLemonGin · 25/07/2017 22:27

@babysurprise14 my order has now changed from processing to dispatched. Mothercare have said that all existing orders for the crib should be dispatched by the end of the week so hopefully we will get them before the weekend.

bittyboo · 25/07/2017 23:15

Hopefully Smile I emailed customer services and they were less than helpful, basically just told me to cancel if I wasn't happy.

babysurprise14 · 26/07/2017 07:39

@IceLemonGin oh fingers crossed for us then! I'm going to pop in at the weekend as well to hopefully speed things along!!!

mummabubs · 26/07/2017 07:42

Have to say the response from customer services is slightly putting me off ordering from Mothercare! Is there a way to order direct from the supplier? I know it's exclusive to MC (d'oh!)

mrsbumblebees · 26/07/2017 19:17

It is now showing as 'In Stock' on the website, although annoyingly my order still doesn't show as dispatched, just 'Processing'. Hopefully this means they will be sorting out all our pre-orders in the next few days!!!

babysurprise14 · 26/07/2017 21:00

My order arrived today just collected it from store, they have a new ordering system so there has been a few delays. If it says they are now in stock you should be ok in ordering. It's such a lovely crib so I'm glad I waited for it!

bittyboo · 27/07/2017 16:43

Mine was delivered today, really pleased with it.

StarWish1 · 28/07/2017 11:44

Hi,
I've also had massive problems with this. Please excuse the lengthy post but I thought my experience might be of interest to some of you.
I pre-ordered the crib in June ready for an end of Aug / start of Sept baby (the estimated delivery date was 19th July so I thought this would give us plenty of time).
The 19th July came and went with no word from Mothercare. I emailed them about the order and like bittyboo found their customer service response to almost be bordering on rude - some generic lines about how they strive for excellent customer service but then told me my two options were to either 1) leave the pre-order in place but they still could not tell me an estimated delivery date or update me on when I might actually receive the item or 2) cancel the pre-order.
I also emailed them during this time about the fact that the mattress protector and sheets are also out of stock and again they were less than helpful. They could not tell me when they'd receive stock and they couldn't suggest any alternative products which would fit the crib.
After noticing that the website was showing the crib as in stock this week and hearing how some people have had orders met, I decided to place a second order on Wednesday. I didn't cancel the first pre-order in case the situation some of you have been told is true and they actually are dispatching pre-orders by the end of this week.
My pre-order from June is still showing as 'processing' on the My Account page of their website with estimated delivery as 19th July, however the order I placed on Wednesday (26th July) is now showing as 'completed' and I have received a dispatch email! Mothercare are clearly fulfilling new orders before working their way through the pre-orders! So people who have ordered the crib this week are getting their cribs whilst those of us who have been waiting for months for stock to come in are still not being dealt with!
I'm hoping to receive the crib in the next few days (I'm guessing 2-7 working days for delivery?) and I've emailed them to cancel my pre-order (I did try to ring them this morning but I spent over 30 minutes on hold with no sign of talking to anyone and eventually gave in). As they take 48 hours to respond to emails I suppose there's still a chance that the pre-order will be dispatched before they see my email and I'll end up with 2 cribs, but if that happens I'll just return one to my local store for a refund.
The service from Mothercare has been awful. The only reason I haven't gone elsewhere is the fact that I really do like this crib and they're the only stockist!

mrsbumblebees · 28/07/2017 11:56

Thanks for your update StarWish1 - that is very interesting to hear!!! I've emailed them twice this week saying that I can see it is in stock and asking why my order still hasn't been dispatched! No response yet and not holding my breath... fortunately I'm not due till October but I want to make sure I do get it as I really like this crib and have been trying to get hold of one for ages now. Not sure whether to place a second order like you have done...?

Also didn't realise that there are sheets/mattress protectors available (when in stock!!) - are these on the Mothercare website too?

StarWish1 · 28/07/2017 13:19

mrsbumblebees I couldn't find the mattress protectors and sheets by searching on the Mothercare website directly but if you go on the Tutti website they are shown there www.tuttibambini.com/product/mattress-protector-white/ however when you click the 'shop now' button it takes you to a Mothercare page where they're showing as out of stock. Think I'm just going to buy generic flat (rather than fitted) mattress protector and sheets so I don't have to worry about fitted sheets being too small / large.

bittyboo · 28/07/2017 19:35

When I asked about sheets in mothercare they said that they used their travel cot fitted sheets for the display crib. They were obviously a little big but fine when tucked down.

StarWish1 · 29/07/2017 11:13

That's a good tip, thanks bittyboo
My crib arrived this morning (the one I ordered online on Wednesday) and Mothercare have confirmed that they've cancelled my pre-order from June.

mrsbumblebees · 29/07/2017 13:11

I finally had a very vague reply saying that my order had been cancelled (I'd not asked them to do this) and that they would be in touch shortly(!) re: placing a new order?! I'm not going to hold out for their next email as it will probably be out of stock again by then, so I have just gone ahead and placed a new order for click and collect and replied saying that I want confirmation my pre-order is definitely cancelled and that I won't be charged. Argh!!!

bittyboo · 29/07/2017 13:32

My mum bought mine and paid cash so I'm wondering if that's why they honoured my pre order?? I had emailed to say this..that a refund would be awkward if they couldn't deliver soon. Either way if you can get sorted they are fab and well worth it.

mummabubs · 29/07/2017 15:10

So the people who have received them are generally happy with them? I'm thinking I might pop out and have a look at them whilst hubby is at work next week (his view on newborn sleeping arrangements has been to point out that in Scotland and Scandinavia you're given a cardboard box for them to sleep in so he reckons we should follow suit!) 🙈 Any drawbacks at all that people are noticing or are you just so glad to finally have your orders? !! Xx

StarWish1 · 29/07/2017 16:57

That could be why bittyboo payment wasn't going to be taken for my pre-order until dispatched. Hope you get yours through your new order mrsbumblebees - can't believe how quickly and easily mine came on the second order!
I haven't put mine together yet (going to wait another week or so) but I saw it in person at the baby show and in a mothercare store and really really liked it. Even though it's been a pain to get hold of I'm still pleased with my choice. My reasons for going for it were 1) looked larger than the snuzpod which I thought might be a bit of a squeeze to last until 6 months if you have a larger baby - and we do tend to have chubby babies in my family! 2) one or both of the sides can be raised to 3 different heights to help with reflux 3) can be folded away so you can travel with it - my will be about 4 months at Christmas when we go to stay with relatives so it'll be nice not to have to buy a separate travel cot and 4) the design is lovely and the grey will really fit in with our bedroom - not that important but a bonus

babysurprise14 · 29/07/2017 17:49

@mammabubs we put ours together last night and it was so quick and easy to do being a travel cot also, I absolutely love it feels really sturdy and much larger than the snuz pod, overall despite the wait I'm really pleased.
Plus Mothercare offered me a £15 e voucher as a gesture of goodwill for the delay, and they used the expectant parent discount too so I only paid £161 😀 I think they were fed up with me complaining!!

Ttc321 · 29/07/2017 17:52

I'm in two minds about this one and next2me!

bittyboo · 29/07/2017 18:37

Yep, really quick to put up/take down. Seems wider than the next to me.

mummabubs · 31/07/2017 13:18

I swear they don't want me to buy one!! A couple of days ago the charcoal one was showing as "In stock" on the MC website, just checked back and it's now out of stock with estimated dispatch 25/08/2017?! I can potentially wait 3.5 weeks but that will be leaving it pretty tight if they then don't fulfil the order and leave me without a sleeping set up for little one. :/

pa55methecake · 31/07/2017 13:19

Thanks for all the updates. I really love this crib so going to preorder and hope for the best. Fingers crossed.

My mum ordered one for us in our local store just a couple of weeks ago. It was delivered on Saturday and it's gorgeous! We used some of Mothercares own brand fitted crib sheets which do fit but only just. Easy to put up but as baby not due until Nov, I can't give much more or a review yet!

mrsbumblebees · 03/08/2017 08:43

Finally collected mine yesterday! Not put it up yet but very excited that we finally managed to get hold of one!

While I was waiting there was a very heavily pregnant lady in front of me in the queue and it sounded like she had had similar problems trying to order one. From what I gathered they had cancelled her pre-orders twice without telling her and she had given up and ordered a snuzpod instead because baby is due imminently! Very poor service from Mothercare.

mummabubs · 03/08/2017 09:34

I'm going to an expectant parent MC event this weekend just to get the 10% off- I checked in store and they said if they do the pre-order for me on the day it will still go through with the discount which would take it down to £162, I'm not due for another 9 weeks so hopefully it would be fulfilled before then. I'm still in two minds over it as it is a lot of money and the one I saw in MC was a bit wobbly (but this may well have been them not setting it up properly as I've seen others have said it feels really solid!) Part of me thinks we should just move the cot into our room for the first six months, which would be a really tight but doable fit... equally given that I'm due in October and our parents live 150 miles away come Christmas time we'll need something for going between the two houses that's easy to set up, so Bambini Cozee wins on that one! So many options and it just feels a bit overwhelming 🙈
