Was 9 weeks and had a MMC at 7w4d. Had an ERPC last Thursday, light bleeding Saturday to Wednesday and no bleeding since. When do you think I can start trying again? I don't want to end up with any infections but figure after over a week and five of those on antibiotics I should be ok. Also, the doctor has said to wait until I have my next period however from reading, that could be up to six weeks and I don't want to wait that long. Do they tell you to wait because of dating or is there an actual reason? I've also heard that the ERPC leaves you quite fertile as it is basically a "full clear out" so surely now would be the time to start trying again?
Any ideas? Thanks xx

They tell you to wait for several reasons. Being ready again is different from being obsessed with getting pregnant again (I know because I've been there several times).
You might not ovulate until your cycle restarts, the best way to know this has happened is if you have a period. Otherwise you will have to use OPKs every day, or have sex very often in the blind hope you hit a day. With my second loss I had pregnancy hormones floating around in my system for ages, I kept taking tests every few days to see when I would get a negative test because then I would know my cycle could restart, but it took weeks for the hormones to go. Very annoying to get + tests when you know for a fact your not pregnant. With my first loss it was much faster though, so it really just depends on how your body processes each miscarriage.
I understand the desire to get started again asap but being practical if you want to get pregnant you have to ovulate and if your not ovulating then there's no point getting your hopes up and trying. So you really do need to figure out when/where your cycle is first. Some women do ovulate straight away, like I did after my first, but I was doing OPKS to try and track where I was. X
