Urgent advice needed ladies!

I'm 38 weeks today, had a sweep last Friday and was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced, have another booked for tomorrow.

I've just been for a wee and when I wiped there were some tiny specks of blood, pin prick size... Is this a 'show' ?? Should I be worried? I'm on Clexane injections to thin my blood so need to be really careful about not taking them if I think something is happening...but as a first time mum I'm not really sure what I'm looking for!

Any advice about 'bloody shows' would be great x

How was the induction process? I'm booked for next Thursday but have another sweep tomorrow morning so really hoping she comes before, I'm quite scared of being induced. Did you need the drip?

No drip this time, had nothing for hours then ramped up and active labour was very quick. Went from ward to labour suite at 6.55 had baby by 7:45! When I had the drip with My first, it did get very intense very quickly, but then that may be preferable to hanging around for ages!

Had a beautiful baby girl on Sunday nurse, contractions started around 1pm and were 5-6 mins apart straight away, by 5pm they were 3 mins so went to the hospital. They checked me over and said I was 4cm and to expect between 6-12 hours, she was born 2.5 hours later! Lovely water birth with gas and air, however if she hadn't have come so quickly I'd definitely have needed/accepted something more!

Wow! That was quick! Had to go back to hospital for some light therapy as baby very jaundice. All ok now though. How are you doing? X

Aw poor thing, did she have to stay in long? We're doing okay, finding our feet with bf - she just falls asleep after about 10 minutes. And she doesn't like being put in her Moses basket so trying to find ways of not having her in with us! But she's gorgeous

She just had 6 hours under the lamp. We too are finding out feet! It's chaos here! Sleeping on The boob is a thing here too ! X
