I don't know how I'm going to keep the stress down, she doesn't wiggle for ages I worry but then it's like a rumble in my belly moving round like its no ones business. I'm at 30+2 atm so end is in sight but this whole thing stresses me out. How do you ladies cope with it? Does anyone else find it stressful? Will time really move that quickly? I just want here safe and out or some sort of womb window lol this is my first so maybe it's because it's all new.

I found my first pregnancy stressful in terms of 'counting the kicks'. The placenta was on the front too which meant I didn't feel many or strong kicks for ages (this time around placenta on the back and she's a wriggler!), not a week went past where I didn't panic and end drinking ice cold water and lying on my left side for an hour, counting. This time around I'm only aware of her kicks when I'm sat down in peace for the evening, definately haven't got the worry of first time.
It's good you take note of your baby's movements but try not to let it take over you to the point of this stress. Towards the end you won't help but feel the kicks (video your bump move, it's amazing to watch back!) and try to take time out for yourself each evening (meditate, have a bath, watch a film)...the routine of having that relax period every day will be something to look forward to and calm you down in general. x

I have the same placenta thing I still don't get a lot of movement round near the belly button and a little lower X yeah I need to de stress about it, I just think it would hurt so bad if something happened I was complete wreck when my cat passed a couple of weeks ago X X

I find it the most stressful part of pregnancy and I also have an anterior placenta this time.

I'm used to having a few kicks every hour and then, if I get the chance to sit down, there should be a lot more.

Twice in 4 weeks I had no/very little movement over 8 hours so I was seen in foetal health each time. The midwives were lovely about it and, in my case, they picked up a couple of things which the consultant has followed up.

It's very normal to not want to get checked - I felt like I was making a fuss - but I know that the consequence of ignoring this is not one I'm willing to risk (and the consultant made it quite clear that she wasn't impressed when I delayed coming in the third time it happened).

I also agree with Tea that having a daily time when you can relax helps a lot - pregnancy can be overwhelming at times!

i am exactly the same as you i'm 35weeks and my everyday life is ruled by movements it stresses me out terribly this is my first baby although i had a mmc last june and i genuinely think i'm haunted by it, i've been up to the hospital 4times now with reduced movements and each time baby has been perfect and i'm literally counting down the days now!

Where is our womb Windows? I haven't contacted anyone yet if I'm worried as soon as I think about it she starts up again...maybe she wants to stress me.

it's defo a tough time, everyone keeps saying to me you've got to start enjoying it and i'm like erm how!
