It took 8 years to get to where I am now and I'm having my much wanted baby in 3 weeks... but I'm hating every minute of this experience.

I had/have HG and have lost loads of weight, when I do hold food down the heartburn kicks in. I haven't slept a full night since last September/October. I have horrific restless legs that nothing is working for... (I'm so far from being in the mood for an orgasm and that always provides temp relief!!) I have piles popping all over the place and leaking through my clothes. I have thrush that just keeps on coming back and tickling places that should never be tickled and now my body has kindly grown me a bartholin's cyst (which makes my failsafe rls cure even less likely). FML

I don't think I can take another 3 weeks of this. I need some sleep.

Surely I'm not the only one who's feeling that pregnancy sucks.

I'm very grateful to be pregnant, but YES I would like to have a moan.

I am exhausted in a way I have never known before - only 8 weeks, but feel like I have been hit by a bus and this is playing havoc with my work (I'm self employed and have a big deadline coming up). I also feel nauseous much of the time, but it's the tiredness that's really getting to me. I'm waking up 4-5 times every night to have a wee, then I often can't get back to sleep for ages.

I'm a zombie. I need to work this entire weekend as I'm so behind, and even then I'm probably going to miss my deadline.

Yesterday, I was so desperate, I got a single-shot latte (even though I'm generally trying to avoid caffeine). I sat down outside the coffee shop to drink it in the sunshine and I FELL ASLEEP at the table! Woke myself up doing that head-lolling thing!

Am taking pregnacare, which includes iron - but I think I'm still going to get my iron levels checked, as this is ridiculous!

Rant over.

I'm OK so far this time (only 15 weeks) but last time I developed the rash from hell at 37 weeks. It was on my hands and ankles, bump and hips, most annoyingly between my fingers. I couldn't rest or even sleep it was so itchy. Kept testing just below the threshold for obstetric choleosis, so nothing done. Eventually bawled at a gp long enough to get see steroid cream which did help a little. Didn't give birth for another 4 weeks. I'm dreading it happening again!

EdgarAllenPoe · 03/06/2017 13:38

They told me it was 'just' heat rash. Heat rash which lasted 4 weeks, got progressively worse no matter what I did, and started in mid December! Thank fuck dh thought ahead and bought a portable air con unit to get us through the summer. I love that man.

I think I'm giving birth to a wookie. The amount of Rennies I'm chomping through is unbelievable.

I have found my people!

I'm 25 weeks and totally not loving this. I worked out yesterday that it's 103 days till my due date and I could've cried.
I'm fat, spotty, rashy, hairy, my boobs are comedy boobs, exhausted, nauseous, restless legs, itchy boobs, piles, headaches, insomnia... and I still have about 100 days!! Sad
I know it'll be more than worth it in the end but still...

Applesandpears23 · 07/06/2017 06:37

Can I join in. 40+2. My back hurts. My bump aches. Baby is bouncing on my bladder. I am sneezing and weeing all the time due to hayfever and the lat few nights I have only slept 2am - 5am. Feel so tired I am nauseous.

Presh1234 · 07/06/2017 07:15

8 weeks and feeling like absolute sh!te! Sorry for bad word.

Teabagtits · 07/06/2017 07:31

No need to apologise for swearing @Presh1234 - it's mild compared to what I come out with.

Today I discovered that as well as piles and a bow popped bartholin's cyst I have a cyst/abcess on my bum crack too. Wtf is with all these cysts?

Feeling for you all. I'm 33 weeks, I've never enjoyed pregnancy (love my kids obviously) and here's my list of woes.

Everything fucking aches
I feel so hot I wear shorts whenever I can and wish they were acceotable work wear.
Near-constant dizziness and fainting
The hunger is crazy.
The heartburn is disgusting.
My skin is so dry I feel like some sort of scaly reptile.
Constipation alternating with diarrhoea.
My hair has done weird things, random tufts have grown on the temples making me look like a scarecrow.
The other night I was woken up by a cramp that felt like a pitbull was worrying my leg.
I keep having random weird or scary dreams.
I'm too uncomfortable to sit on the floor and play with my toddler and he's becoming really cranky about it, I feel so guilty.
Bad sciatica since about 12 weeks.

To top it all if someone else asks me if I'm having twins or comments on my tired face I'm going to go Kill Bill on them.

Counting the days until I finish work and most of all until I give birth. Good luck ladies.

Gothbaby · 07/06/2017 10:03

i keep feeling guilty complaining (miracle baby, told i couldnt have them) but my god do i feel sick and shitty all the time! emotionally and physically such as (im at 31 weeks):
