Growth scans - dropping percentiles

Not particularly worried but looking for similar experiences or words of wisdom.

I was measuring about 3/4 weeks ahead so went for a growth scan at 28weeks which plotted the baby around the 90th percentile.

I'm now (nearly) 35 weeks and the gap has been slowly closing but at my appointment yesterday I was only measuring 34 weeks. Same midwife has measured me at every appointment. Went for a another growth scan today and baby is now plotting below the 50th percentile.

Is this normal? She said she's not overly worried and they'll scan me again in a couple weeks.

DD was born on the 50th percentile and I feel a very similar size to when I was expecting her - but I do definitely feel like my growth has slowed down.

I've had growth scans every 2 week from 28wk and baby has hoovered on the 10th percentile.
When i first got measured by midwife my bump was over the 90th.

When i saw sonographer on Monday she said that growth scans are a waste of time and worry because even though on my personal growth chart the baby was small from her measurements the baby was fine. We will see next week if they are accurate.

My consultant did say that growth scans are a bit pfft as they can be out by 2lbs either way so could have a 4lb baby or an 8lb baby.

When i had my dd they told me she had stopped growing and had to have an emergency section at 32wk as she was only going to be 2lb by the scanners calculations, when she was born she was 4lb 2oz.
I would try not to worry too much about the weight as if mine is ok at 38wk and is just under the 10th and they aren't worried at all, as long as it follows the line, that's what they keep telling me.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy xx
