So frightened of miscarriage

Morning girls, I'm not too sure what's happening with me 😞
Yesterday when I went to the loo I noticed brown blood on the tissue. This continued throughout the day. Last night when I had a wee a clot came out, (it was quite dark (so sorry for TMI) long and thin, about 2 cm in length, but had a slight red tinge around the edges. I was so worried I phoned my friend who is a midwife. She has advised me to call the doctor this morning who will hopefully refer me to the EPU for an internal scan today.
I've hardly slept through the night as I've wanted this for so long and feel devastated at the thought of losing my little bean.
I did a pregnancy text this morning and there is still a strong line so that gives me hope. Just had a wee and there is still a brown mark when I wipe but it's only even been on the tissue never heavy enough to stain my knickers.
Sorry for the long post! I'm just hoping someone else maybe had something similar and it turned out ok.
The brown blood doesn't bother me too much as I know that can happen it's the clot I'm worrying about.
Trying to keep positive with the thought 'today I am pregnant' x

Can I ask, I'm still having pains in my lower tummy through most of each day. Not bad pain but like a period pain, a dull ache. This has been on and off since I found out a few weeks ago. Are you all having pains? x

@MummyM33 my pains have only recently eased off, I felt like I was going to come on all the time with a dull ache in lower tummy, think it was stretching xx

Thanks Ew, that's exactly how I feel like I'm just about to come on. I just rushed in from the shop to go to the loo as I was convinced I'd be bleeding but nothing. Just need to relax and realise it's stretching and part of early pregnancy x

I was the same, I wore white knickers everyday! Just try to relax and enjoy being pregnant 😘😘 xx

Hello, don't know if anyone could help me. Me and my husband been trying to have a baby. Did a test day of my period and negative the next day I came on, not as heavy as usual lasted 3 days then nothing for 24 hours then little bit more then nothing. That was all over by thursday. On Sunday I had bad Cramps and pain in my groin with a bit of brown discharge. I tested it was positive. I had 3 positives went to doctors today and it was negative. She said I had miscarried. I did another test when home and it was positive. I went for a blood test but been having brown discharge and spotting again and got lower back ache (very mild) but had that for a while. I am getting my self in such a state this would be baby number 4 but never had this thinking alsorts.

Hi, have you had the blood test results or are you waiting on them? They will probably want you to do a couple to see if levels increase or decrease. Could you ask your doctor to refer you to the early pregnancy unit to see what's going on?
Sorry I'm not much help this is my first pregnancy so it's all new to me. I really hope you get some answers from the doctors though as not knowing is just awful x

Thank you. Waiting on results. This first time I have used this site just wanted some help lol. Doc where not the best. Hope your pregnancy goes well. I loved being pregnant but forgot just how terrifying it was right up till they are in your arms. Give you chance to worry about the next thing. Xx

Girls need loads of positive vibes & prayers. Going for my 6 weeks early scan tom for heartbeat check. I got a feeling it will be fine im more scared for 12week scan while to go for that tho

Op I cried at your post. I'm 11 weeks pregnant and a right emosh mess right now. I dreamt that I miscarried the other night and it felt so real I work up sweating and panicking and felt sick. You. Just have been so scared with the bleeding. So glad everything is okay. I worried from 5weeks to 10 weeks when I had my scan. Convinced myself nothing was there although I had no bleeding. Just relax. It's natural to feel anxious but there's really not a lot we can do but relax and cross our fingers. Xxxxx

I'm not having a good day today :( having heavy bleeding and passing large clots, the bleeding is red and very similar to a period. I'm not sure what's happening but fearing the worst. Will call the EPU in the morning to see if they can do another scan. Feeling heartbroken after the joy of seeing the heartbeat on Monday x

Updates ladies scan was good saw a heartbeat. Everything is ok for now. Im happy & keep thinking positive & telling myself Im pregnant today & im happy. But in my last 3 m/c problem happened either 8weeks no heart beat or other findout at 12weeks i find out so im still scared & praying big time. Nor for now im ok & im keeping happy

Ladies is it normal?
I keep getting weird period kinda pain in low belly when go to loo. Taking antibiotics coz might be wee infection. But im super excused All the time. Like really tired & lazy. Belly all the time either hungry or bloated. Feel weird
