I'm looking at the mamas and papas ocarro with carrycot and pram seat... But I'm clueless, what do you look for?

Mabel... Do you think the carrycot is a decent length?

On DS we went for something that had a rock-a-tot that could be placed either facing me as I walked or facing out to the world. It was also lightweight and very maneuverable in shops so as not to be awkward between shelves etc. It had a one hand collapse and folded to a neat enough size.

On DD, we first tried a three wheeler which was completely wrong for us. It had a huge under basket but wasn't at all practical for what we needed it for. Then we went for a McLaren by the time she was able to sit up independently. Best money we ever spent.

Went back for a look tonight and the Ocarro is still winning our hearts.

I'm worried we are viewing it through rose tinted glasses however because we fell in love with it so much! Think I might put off buying it until I'm 20 weeks? If I can last that long.

Only thing I am unsure of is the length of the carrycot and that the pram part has a little turn up at the feet... If my child is tall they might outgrow that?

Sorry about the delay in replying - I'm only catching up on my posts now. A rock-a-tot is like the car seat bit that you can carry and clip into an isofix base in the car or into the stroller frame.

Also after remembering that we got a Pliko stroller for DD for when she was very little. She was able to lie completely flat and be strapped in to it but it was very easy to push and wasn't much bigger than a Maclaren stroller.
