Hi just wanted to ask which pram is compatible for small cars like fiestas I'm thinkin of getting the travel system with car seat. I've seen the oyster 2 but don't know how long it will last after up to 3 yrs and it doesn't have a tray where the child can put snacks on I was thinkin of graco or hauk I'm so confused as first time mum.

The Armadillo Flip Xt is a great travel system. Very good seat, compatible with carseat, has a carrycot option and, most importantly with a small car, folds very small.

I cant vouch for that one specifically but the issues I have with this style of pushchair is that there isnt a lie flat option. It lays back 150° which isnt flat, and when it us laid back it isnt parent facing. So if you want the baby facing you it has to be in its carseats.

Carseats are not great for babies to be in for any real length of time, and really shouldnt be used over a laid flat option when not in a car.

So id not advise it for that alone tbh.

Second hand bugaboo bee?

Small folding, an purchase a snack holder, lie flat position, can add a car seat (maxi cosi) to chassis if wanted.

That should read can purchase a snack holder!

I had a graco mirage with my first dd. It lasted ages, and I used it for my ds 2 years later. Can't think of anything negative to say about it at all.

It's cheaper in Argos if you are going to purchase it!

First off you need to make sure you get a car seat that fits your car safely then choose a pushchair.

If money is tight it might make more sense to buy a Group 0+/1 seat which will last until 4, these stay in the car rather than being lifted in and out but tbh babies are supposed to be laid flat as much as possible so it works better for them anyway.

Avoid Hauck if possible, they're car seats are small so they don't last as long and the pushchair wheels generally wear away pretty quickly too so most likely won't last 2/3 years.

I personally don't really like travel systems any more as they are so big! I have an Icandy peach (really good system) at the mo but it is really big to put in the boot (my car is bigger than a fiesta). I've also got a oyster (second hand) which is smaller than the icandy but still folds quite large. I'm only using my travel system till about 4 months, then plan on getting a stroller. Much smaller and lighter.
My recommendation would be get a cheap second hand travel system a new (maxicosi) car seat and use until their old enough, then I'd get a decent stroller.

Try mothercare journey. Not expensive at all. Fits into husband's kia rio just about, folds really easily. And the lie flat carrycot bit eventually becomes the main seat so less bits to clutter up the place. £300 new

(and that includes a car seat, not isofix but pretty easy to attach with seatbelt)
