Hi

How long did it take any of you lovely pregnant ladies to fall again after a mc?

How long did it take to fall pregnant 1st time and then after?

I fell pregnant first time and mc at 13 weeks (blighted ovum). It's been 6 months and no sign of a BFP. Now heading onto try 7. Just want some reassurance from ladies that this can be normal & roughly everyone else's experiences.

I'm trying not to worry as obviously we did conceive very quickly an so it should just be a matter of time....But can't help but fear somethings changed & it won't ever happen again. I just think something surely can't of been wrong before ,ie DH sperm must be fine cos otherwise we wouldn't of hit bingo first time surely?!

Thanks very much.

I started getting spotting a lot after the miscarriage so my periods were a little different. The main thing was very short cycles - but as the GP promised (not that I really believed her at the time) it did return to normal eventually. I started on vitamins which might have helped too. It is really hard after a miscarriage, be as kind to yourself as you can Flowers

After my first mc @7wks we waited for a period and then tried again and got pregnant straight away. Miscarried again at 7 wks and didn't wait to try... Had a faint positive at 4 wks but then started a heavy period a few days later. As that counted as 3 mcs in a row the gp referred me to the recurrent miscarriage clinic for tests. These were all normal so after 3-4months of waiting for the referral and getting the all clear it took about 3 months to conceive... Now 31 weeks 😁 .... Good luck and yes try and not stress about it if you can x

OP I had a D&C after mmc and my period returned exactly 4 weeks later as expected. It does vary from person to person though, I've heard.

My GP kindly sent my to have my bloods taken to check ovulation after 5 months of trying and it looked normal so that was somewhat comforting. Maybe an option if you are concerned? I understand your frustration though. X

Thanks @newmumtobe86! Good luck with your pregnancy this time round.

I'm determined to make this month count. How often did any of you ladies DTD in FW?

Xx

I had a miscarriage in January and have just found out I'm pregnant again. Each pregnancy took two cycles to conceive.

Weirdly the 3 times I've conceived I've only ever dtd once that month. No ovulation charting etc - just dtd when I had ewcm and felt in the mood

The months I didn't conceive I dtd between 1 and 10 times.

Sorry for your loss. It took me 11 months to conceive 1st (healthy baby), took 4 months to conceive 2nd (lost at 11 weeks). It took 13 months to conceive 3rd after miscarriage (currently 36 weeks pregnant with rainbow baby) but it was probably 9 months after we 'properly' start trying.

As previously said, it seemed that I relaxed after the due date for the one we lost had passed. We'd also decided to stop officially trying and I fell pregnant the following month!

Good luck, I hope it happens for you soon x
