How the heck am I meant to do this? I have a DS who will be 2 soon and I am 35 weeks pregnant. I am not sleeping, I have chronic back/hip pain that makes me physically sick some days and whilst I want to lie in bed and feel sorry for myself I can't because my lo wants his mum to play and there is nobody else to look after him.
DH works away for his job and will be home in a couple of weeks but everything just seems like such ruddy hard work.
Breathless when I walk, the house needs cleaned, can't see my toes, wearing clothes that make me feel like some sort of tarpaulin covered truck and I've got to keep smiling throughout.

Honestly I know this is a massive self pitying rant but I am just fed up!

Never mind the state of the house, just do the bare minimum to keep you and your lo fed and watered and entertained.

Is there anyone you can invite round to help entertain your lo?

I have a lot of sympathy, I'm pregnant too and my son will be 22 months when this one shows up. I really hope I cope with the end stages of pregnancy better than I did last time!

I'm also 35 weeks though my DS is 2.5. I've let standards slip a lot, the house is a mess and he watches too much TV. This morning he played with a bowl full of oats for over an hour while I sat with my swollen ankles up. It's all over the kitchen but I figure it'll take minutes to hoover up later so it's worth it! Im struggling to take mine out as he's so clingy just now so either wants carried or just runs off. Thankfully he still naps. Everyone says it's easier with a newborn than heavily pregnant but I'm not convinced!

So glad I'm not alone in this! Thought I was losing my mind this morning, slept for two hours-up with lo who washed the floor with his cereal and all I could do is sit as I can't bend down!

My parents and in laws don't live far away but are all pretty busy so even though I hate asking for help I think I'll need to before this baby appears!
