Cord round neck

A few months ago I accidentally stumbled upon a page on Instagram about a baby that was stillborn because the cord wrapped around her neck. I have been really paranoid about this ever since.
Last night I felt baby move round loads at 3 am which I don't know is normal or abnormal as I'm normally asleep at this time but I haven't felt her move this morning. I'm so scared that what I felt last night was her dying :-(

I am a regular (baby measures small just over 5th centile) at my local MAU and have seen most midwives if not all and generally cannot praise them enough. I'll go anytime I feel she has changed even if my "gut" feeling says it is all OK. Most of all midwives are absolutely excellent but there is an odd one or two who have made me feel not exactly welcome etc.

I understand that and just totally totally ignore it.

Please do ignore it. They have to look after you and check that you and the baby is OK and that is the most most most important thing.

Your uncomfortable and unwelcome feeling is a small price to pay to check that things are ok with your LO.
Please go again and again if necessary.
NHS poster on the wall says that even if you have been to MAU but feel unsure later that day you should go back.
