Pregnancy

If you were late with your last baby would you say it's likely you'll be late with your next?

All things the same
Same dad
Same gender
Same pregnancy and job type

Or would you say all pregnancies should be treated completely different?

I'm getting so close to the big day but have so far assumed I will go 2 weeks over and be induced again

Hmmmm??

I was 2 weeks over with no 1 (not induced) and 1 day over with no2. I was expecting to go to 42w again so was completely unprepared. I only wrote my birth preferences and packed my bag on my due date.

Each one is totally different I suspect. Both of mine were actually conceived at the same time due to IVF only difference was one was frozen for 4 yrs. my daughter first born arrived 6 days late and my son second born was 6 days early!

Don't count on it, DC1 42 weeks and DC2 37 weeks exactly. I'd only had 3 days off work and the cot was still in pieces in a junk-filled box-room Sad
TBH I feel like I've not ever caught up since (he's now 8)

First baby 14 days late and second, 12 days late, I had to be induced with both (they did this in the 90's when I had mine but not sure about these days) The specialist at the time thought this was because I had a narrow pelvis. Thank goodness they induced me with baby number 2- a big boy weighing in at 10lbs :-O

VamonosPest - No, I just found out this one is a boy, very different pregnancy this time too, so hopefully I'll have even more of a change and he'll come just a tiny bit early!
