Have you drank during your pregnancy? I did accidentally the day before we found out - in Paris I had two or three glasses of wine. I was about 3-4 weeks at the time.

I accidentally had a non-virgin Bloody Mary when a bar tender messed up and I took a huge gulp.

Anyone else? I wish I could have some wine but I'm too scared!

I was drunk 3 days before finding out I was pregnant. Once I knew I think I had just one glass of wine. Because of my poor self control it was just easier to not drink at all really Blush

If you enjoy it and can happily drink one then why not?! I'm 26 weeks and had a small glass on christmas day, a spritzer on my cousins 30th and a half prosecco after seeing our 20 week scan (thoroughly enjoyed).

I'm at 8 weeks. Due to a small bleed detected on my scan, my doctor is being extra cautious and has given me instructions like no sex, no swimming, no baths, no unnecessary travelling, etc until 12 weeks. However, he did say that it's fine for me to have a drink every now and again. It was a bit of a relief as I've been craving beer! Not something I usually drink.

I just couldn't face it! I ADORE wine but in both my pregnancies, even the smell of it makes me want to heave. I guess it's the opposite of a craving for me...my body is telling me not to do it. When I've sipped DH wine just for a taste, it actually tastes disgusting to me. I would never judge anyone for the odd glass here and there, but just can't do it myself.

I drank wine most weeks through my pregnancy. Usually a glass of red wine about 1 or 2 times a week.
My son is fine and I saved my sanity by not getting pedantic about what I ate / drank.
My midwife said to me it's more of a problem if the mother is drinking half a bottle of vodka per night.

For those craving beer - try Becks Blue, it's v similar tasting to normal beer but alcohol free.
I had non in first trimester as I was so sick I struggled to even drink water.
When I was about 23 weeks I had a small glass of red on holiday as I found a link saying red wine could be good in pregnancy so went with that! ;)
On hols next week at 26 weeks and may have a couple of glasses (not per day but throughout the week)
At a wedding several years ago, a friend of mine was 4 months pg and I watched her have at least 3 (strong) cocktails and a pint (and probably more) as it was free. I thought it was terrible....but her baby turned out fine and healthy.

First trimester i had nothing, after that i had maybe a small glass a month/every 6 weeks.
Per PP becks blue is very close in taste to the regular stuff
