Did you listen to baby's heartbeat at first scan?

When I had my first scan, the hospital was really busy and the appointment was so rushed that I was only in there for 3-4 minutes. I'm worried that the sonographer didn't perform it properly; he literally put the camera on, took a measurement and photo then said there's the heart and that was it. I can't remember if I heard my first DCs at the first scan but I'm pretty sure I did and that it was much more thorough. How was yours?

I had my first scan at 10 weeks (because they thought I was more ahead than what I was)
They listened to heartbeat then but little else as baby was still so small. I went back 2 weeks later when they did the full 12 weeks check
