So i'm having a moan about the usual first trimester misery. This is baby no.1 and dont get me wrong i am so excited i could burst but i am also tired 90% of the time, nauseas and so have lost drive at work. I know everyone gets like this i am just curious WHEN WILL I FEEL HUMAN? Confused my app says at 7 + 4 the placenta is gearing up so i should feel less hormonal. Does this mean i will start to feel better? Sorry for ranting

Im also 7+4 and actually really struggling. I feel sick from the moment I open my eyes till I go to bed. I have no energy to do any of my work and feel like I constantly need to be sick.

I'm so tired all day and literally sleep from the second I get home! No sex drive, I'm moody and hormonal too. I hope this gets easier soonSadFlowers

I sound very ungrateful, I'm really happy to be pregnant! 😬

Hi rainbows how exciting we are at the same date Smile are you being sick or just feeling it? I just feel nausea (but like motion sickness) 24-7. And a list as long as my arm of food aversions. Oh and excessive metallic saliva (feel abit like im being drowned as you do sometimes at the dentist with the squirty water thing they use....) Oh and hiccups and OTT burping...yay!! Good job my OH is being super patient....

If it makes you feel bettet Jelly mine started around week 7, I was in hospital for dehydration and for the next two weeks could barely leave bed/the couch. At the time I thought how will I survive, but here I am at 17 weeks, feeling just as awful but here all the same. It feels like you cant possibly cope, that is certainly how I feel at the moment, but somehow you just do.

Moonywormtailpadfootprongs · 08/02/2017 17:40

I never felt like you do...

But currently 32 weeks with DC2 and my hips are giving up.

It gets better... then worse... and worsens... then baby! Grin

Jellybabie3 · 08/02/2017 17:41

Not at all. My suffering doesnt ease yours! I'm just trying to say that even though you feel so bad, you will survive. Not the most positive message, but its all I've got!

WantingBaby1 · 08/02/2017 18:30

Don't feel bad for having a moan! I'm 13 wks and although I don't feel sick anymore (yay!) I do have horrible acid reflux and am just full of wind. That just autocorrected to wine. I wish I was full of wine Wine

WantingBaby1 · 08/02/2017 18:31

Actually come to think of it I'm now 14 weeks. Clearly still exhausted as can't even keep track of that!

RainbowsAndLemonDrops · 08/02/2017 18:31

Very exciting 😬 I'm being sick too, usually first thing and then it passes. Your burping comment made me laugh, I've just realised that I actually am too! I've found my sickness feels worse when I haven't ate for a few hours.

Jellybabie3 · 08/02/2017 18:44

Haha do you think you could stomach wine?! Pre-preg i lived off wine, g&t and caffeine Grin now i can only drink water (hate sweet drinks!) My baby is due end Sept so i am looking forward to a late summer g&t. I will probably keel over.

Btw i am genuinely very happy about my pregnancy. Just wish the baby wasnt being troublesome at the size of a raspberry so i could tell it so more often!!

6 weeks here. So nauseous. Not yet thrown up. But man do I feel sick.

I naively thought "morning sickness" was just that. Apparently I was wrong. All day every day coming and going nausea.

I'm hoping it eases off soon.

kikibo · 08/02/2017 19:04

I felt like death warmed up from two days before xmas (6w) until pretty much week 11. First the sickness in the evenings went and last weekend I finally had two days where I didn't have a, what I have started euphemistically calling, morning purge though I was taken by surprise again this morning, but it's definitely less violent.

What I found/find mildly distressing is the fact that you actually don't know how long it will last...

NinaMarieP · 08/02/2017 19:27

I'm 15 weeks and the only reason I feel "better" is thanks to the cyclizine. I'm still just as knackered, though perhaps slightly less emotional. I'm still hoping for the midwife's prediction for feeling better at 16 weeks to be true, as it would be nice to not be relying on tablets every day (esp. as they aren't a cure, they just relieve a lot of the nausea.)

Writerwannabe83 · 08/02/2017 20:08

Currently 12+3 and feeling crap. I've had to be signed off work for a month. I'm exhausted and the nausea/sickness is horrendous: I was nearly hospitalised 5 days ago due to dehydration. I was ok until I was about 9 weeks pregnant and it went downhill from there Sad

With my son I had no first trimester issues at all really so my experience this time round has come as a complete shock to my system Sad

DestinationSofa · 08/02/2017 20:26

I am only just 6 weeks and have been feeling awful since 4. I feel disgusting I can't do any exercise. I can't face putting makeup on. I have to buy specific food every day depending on how bad I feel. I look awful at work and have to wake up early to sit for 45minutes before I can get ready. I throw up first thing and also wake up to throw up. I honestly don't know how people have more than one child who go through this. It's like a living hell. It's so so grim :(

DestinationSofa · 08/02/2017 20:28

I agree having no idea when it will end is horrific.

Wait4nothing · 08/02/2017 20:30

25 weeks ish for sickness - then the heartburn started at about 27 weeks!

ememem84 · 08/02/2017 20:44

To top it all off I'm also super farty

GlowWorm123 · 08/02/2017 20:52

Jellie what's your due date? Mines 25th Sept.

Are you excited to be heavily pregnant in the summer heat? Grin

Jellybabie3 · 08/02/2017 21:56

Blimey some real tough stories Sad
