I went off wine (unheard of) and was soooooo tired. My friend insisted I was pregnant. I insisted she was crazy. She won Xmas Wink

Stormcloud10 · 25/12/2016 18:37

I'm 5 weeks today and really stressing that I've had no symptoms apart from being even more knackered but I feel better reading this. I had sickness early with my two previous pregnancies so I was worrying that something was wrong but looks like a lot of people were a couple of weeks further on before they kicked in!

Previously I was sick a lot and I could smell better than a police search dog lol

I'm currently 8 weeks, and am feeling very sick indeed Sad

I've been having cramping off and on, and am really tired but keep waking up in the night to pee. Also VERY windy (but that could be the progesterone pressures I'm taking as this is an IVF pregnancy).

laurenmarie88 · 26/12/2016 11:40

Well I've worked out I'm over a month and I'm the same this is my 2nd pregnancy but I'm showing more and I do usually have a flat stomach and I've been feeling nauseous and crampy it's worth it though cx

From about 4 weeks (when I didn't know about the pregnancy) the only symptom I had, in hindsight, was extreme tiredness.

From about 6 weeks onwards I had

Extreme tiredness
Headaches
Mild abdominal cramps
Sickness

Heightened sense of smell, went off things I usually like (tea, booze, fried foods)...then like clockwork at 6/7 weeks each pregnancy I start puking a lot. Lovely Grin

Mouse14 · 27/12/2016 17:17

Congratulations!
Metallic taste and constantly tired. Then at about 6 weeks when I found out, cramping and sore boobs. Moved on to nausea and tiredness. Now I'm nearly 12 weeks and just tired, the odd stretching pain and nausea if I don't eat- although I'm not hungry! Not going to lie- the first trimester hasn't been as exciting as I'd thought!

birdsdestiny · 27/12/2016 17:22

From about 4 weeks ( I didn't know) I was just so so tired. I used to wake up and count how many hours till I could go back to bed. Rationally I decided I had a serious illness and was going to die. The fact that we were actively trying to get pregnant did nothing to alert me.

thecatsarecrazy · 27/12/2016 17:26

Strong sense of smell then sickness from 6 weeks

Shainamarpia · 27/12/2016 17:54

Really tender boobs, comes and goes sometimes not so bad then other days I can barley touch them. Extremely tired, constantly want to sleep. The odd bout of nausea seems to happen at night time, goes fairly quickly.
Tiredness is the killer. Get exhausted doing anything even just nipping to the shop.
It'll all be worth it though Grin

TallyHoAndToodlePip · 27/12/2016 18:04

Congratulations! Smile

My first symptoms came the day after I conceived! I burped non-stop from morning until night. Very weird and unlike me! I also got the power of super smell the same day. I walked into my kitchen and could smell a small patch of mould on a piece of bread that was sealed in a plastic bread bag. DH was very impressed and told me I was pregnant. I laughed and said it was way too soon to be having symptoms but he was right! Grin

laurenmarie88 · 27/12/2016 18:42

Well TBH I knew I'd conceived I felt so poorly and achy and I kind of just knew so made up I was right Smile

Tartyflette · 27/12/2016 18:46

Strange metallic taste in my mouth all the time. Could not even bear the sight of a particular bottle of red wine we had in the house. DH had to hide it.
Later on I ate a packet of watercress a day, plus loads of ice cubes.

laurenmarie88 · 27/12/2016 18:59

I did a test when missed period but I knew cause my boobs were sooooo sore that's gone now though ?

Umblubblub · 27/12/2016 19:05

It must have been literally a week after I'd conceived when I left my handbag on a train which is very out of character for me. DH laughed and said 'Are you sure you're not pregnant?' Then I had insomnia and a nose bleed and knew he was right! I'm 25 weeks now and feeling great. Congratulations on your pregnancy and good luck getting through those early symptoms!

arbrighton · 27/12/2016 19:21

Just past 12 weeks. I've had tiredness (sorry, exhaustion), nausea (but not sickness), sore and growing boobs, hypersensitive sense of smell, peeing a lot, occasional dizziness.
wowsers actually that's quite a list eh

laurenmarie88 · 27/12/2016 19:39

Ah I hope so my anxiety is worse

Headache and creamy discharge

BeccaSays · 28/12/2016 09:28

Tiredness...and that was it! I worried all the time that there must be something wrong but now looking back I was very lucky!

MulderitsmeX · 28/12/2016 10:03

Have had very few symptoms, a bit of cramping and tiredness but that's it. Was a bit worried at first to have no sickness etc but have been reassured it is normal.
