Hello I'm new, but have been lurking for a long time.
I found out I was pregnant on the 12th November, and originally thought my cycles were pretty bang on. I use an app so looked at the analysis report and actually they were all over the place, most recently 28,35,28,31,25 days.
Anyway, based on my LMP I thought I was 9 weeks exactly. I had an early private scan and it only measured 6 weeks (said the embryo was 4.3mm) and no visible heartbeat yet, although sonographer said at 6 weeks not always visible.
However the dates being so out worried them and they primed me that I might have a miscarriage and have referred me the EPU to have another scan to check growth. I spoke to the EPU and they have basically said it probably stopped growing. I've seen this happen a lot on this forum, and quite recently too, and everyone it happens to seems to go along with that line of thought, that's all over. (Sorry for anyone reading this who has suffered the same I don't mean to sound insensitive I am just very confused as private scanner was a bit concerned but said miscarriage may not happen so I'm not sure what to think).
Just wondered if its actually possible to be three weeks out? Seems like an awful lot to me, but the fact that my cycles are a bit haywire made me wonder. Has anyone else had a positive outcome with this or has it all been negative? Just trying to get myself in the right mindset for when I got back as I've got to wait two and a half weeks now because of christmas :(
