Accidentally ate something I shouldn't

We were out this eve for DH's birthday doing some fun, silly, 'we won't get a chance to do this when the baby's here stuff'. Microbrewery where he (not I) sampled a few, favourite burger place and then an ice cream parlour. I was tucking into my sundae when in the midst of the fun evening I realised I wasn't supposed to be eating this. I didn't check whether it was pasteurised and I'm certain the bit on the top of the sundae came out of a soft ice cream machine, which I know you're not supposed to have.
DH has tried to reassure me but now we are home I feel sick and am frankly hysterical with worry. I can't believe I was so irresponsible. The worst part is I carried on eating a little bit after I realised because I was sort of trying to convince myself I hadn't done anything wrong. I stopped pretty quickly though.
Salmonella doesn't worry me too much but listeria terrifies me because of the horrific effects for baby and how susceptible you are to it during pregnancy. I know it's the main risk with ice cream.
And I've just looked it up and listeria can take 3-70 days to develop, so I feel like I'm facing 70 days of unbearable anxiety.
I'm only 19+4 at the moment.
I just feel so awful about it. Like l've let my baby down.

It's a worry I know.

the main reason soft ice cream is advised against...

Who advises against it though? I tend to use only the NHS for guidance so must be missing something.

OP, I was in Iceland on holiday at 4 months and unthinkingly are a palm-sized piece of cured lamb, then spent the remainder of the holiday stressing about it. Got home, phoned my doctor, who assured me that a) the risk really is miniscule and b) the baby really would be fine.

He is now 7 days overdue (argh!)but has been healthy at every subsequent check up I've had x

Also OP you are not more susceptible to listeria in pregnancy - the risk is the same as to any other person, it's simply that in the extremely unlikely event you did get it, it's dangerous to the baby. Your chances are basically nil.

I eat everything when pregnant. Tend to avoid pate I guess (to avoid too much vitamin A) but honestly, these 'rules' are so out of control.

Scaring mums to be unnecessarily.

I have just been to my doctor and asked whether I could eat eggs from my backyard chickens (as they are not pasteurised) and he said yes, listeria used to be a problem but it is incredibly rare these days and he hadn't seen a case of it for 20 years. So I recon ice cream from a restaurant will be absolutely fine.
