I'm having a section on the 13th at 39+1 as baby is breech but I know nothing. All I know is I may be discharged within 24 hours if everything goes smoothly but I want to know what happens after the section.

Can I have a bath/shower asap
When will I be able to get up and move around
How much pain will I be in
When can I go back to driving
How long will my catheter be in etc

Can anyone give me a little insight to what's going to happen after please

Well I guess the for GPs of mine were lying.... and the surgeons

or you reckon mine were - my midwife with #1 asked me why I wasn't driving at nearly 2 weeks

The insurance company practically laughed when I asked them - people have all sorts of abdominal surgery every day - it's only CS that are so precious the myth is we can't - they just said see your GP (but apparently you think mine is incompetent compared to yours)
