Chills/shivering after eating.

I've had this since 5 weeks, I'm now 10 weeks. If I eat anything more substantial than a cream cracker I get full on chills/shivers that I cant heat up for about an hour afterwards. It's not my thyroid. It's not an infection. There is no high temperature. I can't explain why. It's really disconcerting. I've lost weight due to sickness and nausea and I don't eat many meals tending to snack through day instead but even with some ravioli out a tin I have these shivers.

Does anyone know what this could be. It's freaking me out (and making me freezing cold)

I have no idea what that it is, but didn't want to ignore your post! Have you spoken to your GP? I'm 30 weeks and for ages have been having heart palpitations after a big meal - turns out I have a fast resting heart rate and am very anaemic so am being quite closely monitored. Was definitely worth a chat, even though I felt a bit silly raising it! Hope it goes away soon Flowers

I have an appointment tomorrow with GP but I've raised it before and they couldn't find anything obvious. Hoped other pregnant women would have an idea as I'm sure I can't be the only one feeling like this

Sorry I don't have anything to offer either but didn't want to read and run. Push the GP, ask for second opinion if needs be, and have you tried talking to your midwives? Again, ask more than one if the first doesn't have anything to suggest. Good luck Flowers
