I am 35w prg. with second DC.
As the subject says ...This time I am feeling like my vagina is very very puffy/plumpy/swelled .. perhaps .. bulging out ...... I know some yeast infection is common .. but I dont have any pain ... I can feel this bulge while walking, sitting as it rubs my inner thighs Blush (TMI sorry) .. bulging ..as something is coming out... not had done anything or sex any recent weeks so it could irritate it..
This condition is from 2-3 weeks. I searched and found something similar or may be this condition is called Cheeseburger crotch.. (first time heard this word)
I have Varicose Veins in my legs.. but is it really this the problem .. or is it same problem at all? Am I doing something wrong? any effect on baby? Is it serious thing?
I dont remember this in my first pregnancy.
Any one who experienced it or any one can help me to cure

My immediate thought was umbilical cord prolapse - v v v rare, but I would go in for a check asap if I were you

I had vaginal varicose veins throughout my pregnancies. They are harmless and go away after birth. However, mine felt heavy and sore when I stood up. Have you no pain at all?

I could see mine when I looked in the mirror. You could try that? Though I imagine this would be tricky at 35 weeks! The veins look like navy/purple worms Blush.

I got this a couple of times, what helped was cutting back on sugar a lot and for relief cooling ice packs or cold flannels. It was worse when it got hot down there. Never found out what it was but linked to my diet and having had too much sugar , white pasta, bread etc so when i cut down , it got better Xx

Thanks for reply CaroleService : what I notice ..There is no special bulging lump ... its the whole area which is swollen... and yes
MazDazzleyes: no pain... just puffiness ..... I will try to look it in the mirror Hmm

Hulaballoo: I got gestational diabetes... may be there is any link.. I have very controlled meals.. No sugary feasts because of this. I dont have white pasta/white bread or cakes.. though I have seeded wholemeal breads in breakfast..
my sugar levels are coming normal... but as I am entering in last weeks .. these levels are becoming very difficult to control.

I had that, it was purely the weight of the baby putting pressure down on everything below it. It went soon after birth, it won't do anything to the baby, as it's not affecting the baby at all, it's just another glorious way your body is struggling with the pressure being put on it and the swelling that goes with that.

I have this too and it's just the weight of the baby pushing down. Or it could be all the hormones I'm not sure but my midwife is not worried in the slightest and I'm 35 weeks also
