Hi, I misscarried my first pregnancy in August at 7 weeks pregnant which was devastating, I'm now pregnant again at around 4 weeks (haven't been my doctor yet) if you have previously miscarried are you able to get a early scan for some reassurance? Thanks for any advice X

Sometimes, but bear in mind it would likely be an internal which can make you cramp a little and then stress about miscarrying anyway. If you waited til about 8 weeks they may let you have one and then it is sometimes possible to do it externally. Ive been there sweetheart and its awful. Try to not get too worried - think of how many babies are born healthy every day - its happened to before but ot may not ever happen again x

No only if you have multiple miscarriages as 1 miscarriage is considered to be normal and will happen to most people but if you have two or three in a row that's not normal. You can go private though which I did and I got a lot of pictures and they were very nice people and took their time to scan me

Hi - I miscarried in July and am pregnant again. My GP referred me for an early scan this time. Perhaps because I had a missed miscarriage and was anxious. I imagine it depends on the doc but worth asking?

I would try and get a private one. I had a mmc when baby stopped growing 11 and a bit weeks and had a d&c at 13 weeks. Booked a private one for reassurance this time.

Was a much much relaxed setting rather than epau.

Sorry about your loss. Flowers
