Hi guys, I would like your opinions on this test I've just done. The faint positive line showed up straight away and got darker within the 10 minute period. What do you guys think?

Is this a positive pregnancy test?

Yeah I get what you're saying, I'll try my hardest to wait until the morning haha :)
What I don't get is why this mornings test has a fainter line than yesterday's, when I took yesterday's in the evening! Xx

Sorry to jump on but I found that Tescos own and first response were the best.

Good luck all xx

Molly, everyone is different. I wish I had never taken a test so early now!

(I just bought another)

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 28/10/2016 16:41

Please keep me updated all of you xx

Mollykate12 · 28/10/2016 16:46

I've bought first response and a Superdrug one too

Op

I think the tests you have done are showing positive but it sounds like your testing too early

Mollykate12 · 28/10/2016 17:01

Just did a first response which was negative :( going to test tomorrow morning, I'm either testing too early or I'm just not pregnant

Could you see a line at all?!
Xx

Mollykate12 · 28/10/2016 17:10

I'm pretty sure there's nothing there :( xx

Do you have a rough idea at all when your last period was?! Can you remember doing anything particular when you had it so it might trigger your memory?! Xx

Mollykate12 · 28/10/2016 17:19

I think it came around the 12th of this month and normally lasts 5 days. I have the worst memory ever and we just weren't particularly crying but weren't being careful either xx

It's far too early then in that case. Mine was 30th sept and I've only just had a positive xx

Mollykate12 · 28/10/2016 17:44

Do you think that's just it? I'm not sure how long to wait

OP posts:
Littlemisssugarplum88 · 28/10/2016 17:53

If your period was around the time you think it might have been, then you probably won't get a positive for over another week yet (if you are pregnant). Try and keep yourself busy until then and see what happens xx

Mollykate12 · 28/10/2016 17:57

Thanks sugarplum, I just read somewhere that you can do some tests quite early on
I'll try and wait xx

Maybe buy some ovulation tests because you might be ovulating now (it's usually 2 weeks after your period). I'd perhaps dtd again tonight if you can xx

HouseAnxiety · 28/10/2016 18:28

Pants down MrMollyKate!!!

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 28/10/2016 18:40

Hahaha love it House xx

Mollykate12 · 28/10/2016 18:51

Haha don't encourage him! We'll probably dtd tonight or tomorrow, I'll take an ovulation test xx

OP posts:
Littlemisssugarplum88 · 28/10/2016 19:00

The symptoms you've been having may be your body ovulating.
Good luck lovely. Definitely dtd tonight and then again on Sunday, hopefully you haven't missed it this month xx

Mollykate12 · 28/10/2016 21:50

The ovulation test line came up fainter than the control line so I think I've already ovulated this month, we've dtd enough to get pregnant, just depends on what happens I guess! If not will have to wait until next month xx

OP posts:
Littlemisssugarplum88 · 28/10/2016 22:01

You usually ovulate between 24-48 hours after a positive test so I'd definitely get on it tonight hehe how exciting!!
Hope you're feeling a bit better about it now. Good news you're ovulating anyway :) xx

Mollykate12 · 28/10/2016 22:24

Thanks :) we'll try tonight and tomorrow probably :P I'm going to buy some pregnancy tests online to save money! I don't know why I didn't think of it before haha xx

At least you know now :)
Download the Ovia app on your phone; that way you can keep a track of your periods and it'll give you a rough estimation of when you're ovulating each month.
They recommend to dtd every other day to give the sperm chance to 'renew' itself properly.
Good luck to you both xx

Mollykate12 · 28/10/2016 22:34

Thanks, I'll download it now :) xx
