ouch... very uncomfortable.

FWIW, a trained maternity reflexologist would know trigger points to help ease SPD. and certainly working on the spine and sciatic reflexes may alleiviate some of the discomfort.

hope it eases off.

best wishes

dinny, it could be spd... i'm seeing an obstetric physio for mine who is quite near you. she is also a trained osteopath. contact me off board if you want the details.

I went to an osteopath with dd1 and it helped. Just trying to save money this time, really. It's bad when at work cos sitting on bum for such long periods. How is your SPD, Serenequeen?

as far as these things go, it is not as bad as it could be (i.e. i'm still able to walk without crutches, don't need a wheelchair... yikes). the rate of deterioration has slowed markedly since I started seeing the obstetric physio. if you have health insurance, this treatment would be covered - mine is. alternatively, if you can get to the British School of Osteopathy in Borough High St, there is an expectant mothers' clinic there. They charge an introductory fee of £19 per session and after that it is £16. I was going there for a while but found the physio more helpful.

oh, forgot to mention, i badgered work for an occupational health assessment of my work area. at least you will know if your chair, monitor etc are properly positioned to minimise the strain.
