Nighties/big t-shirts/for hospital bag?

I like PJs, not nighties but when I had DS 6 yrs ago I got a couple of cheap t-shirt material nightshirts that were ideal for hospital/birth, during which PJs just aren't practical. Am trying to find something similar this time around to pack but really struggling. Have looked at New Look, M & S, Asos and Debenhams - no joy and all quite pricey.

Just after something plain, cheap and comfy that I can chuck after birth if necessary. Any ideas?

Tia.

I got 2 cheap, plain nighties from Peacocks. They are short sleeved with a few buttons and I still use them now as ideal for breastfeeding

Also likely to have a catheter if you have bad tears or have had an epidural. Definitely nighties are a safer bet! Got mine on Amazon (it was an M&S second) buttoned front for BF. It was pretty disgusting but functional!

I wore a t-shirt for delivery and then showered and changed into my maternity 'over the bump' pj's. Very comfy. This time I may end up having a section if my placenta remains low so I'm going for the c-section pants and over the bump pj's on the advice of my sil who had a section with d nephew. Obviously for the section I'll be in theatre garb.

Tesco do button down nightshirts without glitter / sequins etc. Picked up a few in bigger sizes - v soft already so should be comfortable.
