Hi,

I've been advised by a midwife you can use Water Wipes instead of cotton wool and water for newborns now. Does anyone know if this is just the brand of wipes called Water Wipes or if the wipes that say are suitable for newborn and say are as mild as cotton wool and water are also ok?

Hi drink you keep the wipes in a box that comes supplied. Dirty wipes go into the other box and then get washed every few days. I dry either outside or on the radiators/airer. You can put the wipes wet from the wash into the clean box if you haven't had time to dry them. When I'm out the house I just use regular disposable wipes. The cheeky wipes set comes with an out and about bag though if you want to take them with you.

I started off with good intentions. Bought a top and tail bowl and cotton wool. Think I did that twice before giving up and using sensitive wet wipes Blush never did either of mine any harm.

I'm still using water wipes for my 2.8 year old son and will be using for this baby too.

I always bulk buy when on sale on Amazon. Never paid full price for them. I've also never had a problem with mould, even when I've used them past their use by date. the unopened boxes are stored in an outside shed.
