Feeling a bit alone, I'm only 20 and this is my first baby. Just wondering if there are any other Young first timers out there?!

I know how you feel! I remember thinking I had ages to go (and still do!)

That sounds amazing, hopefully your house will be done by the time baby comes. It seems even planned babies come without warning Wink

We've been so prepared since about 25 weeks lol! Finished the nursery and had bags of nappies and clothes for baby, we had to tell people to stop buying for us as we had too much!!
Have you thought of any names yet?!

I'm 21 and pregnant with my second!
Was only 19 when I fell pregnant with my first.
But to be fair, I've done everything in life a bit early 😂 I was 18 when I got married!

Allibear · 14/08/2016 10:32

Wow that's awesome!! I sort of feel the same, I moved out when I was 17 just wanted to be independent. Not quite married yet! My partner proposed but I feel like it was only because of baby so I said no, what does everyone think of this?

Alli I'm 28 weeks with number 2 - due end of Oct/beginning of Nov Smile

When did you begin buying the big stuff so far we have only bought a little suit and have been reluctant to get anything 'just in case' up to the scan.

Yeah we have agreed on a name, we both like Dominic and Holly. We are excited to find out if it's a boy or a girl, my partner is insisting it's going to be a girl lol. How about you?

divadee · 15/08/2016 09:49

I got pregnant at 19. And I think being so young helped!! I kind of just went with it. Yes it was tough at times, but that happens at any age. I'm now 39 and pregnant with number 2 and I have to say I'm more stressed this time than before!!

You will be fine. All babies need is love and attention. They will soon grow up to be snarling teens so enjoy it!

Oh no, not a Hun Shock

Allibear · 16/08/2016 09:37

In honestly my MIL for so excited she got everything for us super early Katie! She's been amazing, I don't know when I would have started buying I was looking on mothercare all the time though. I don't like the idea of not getting stuff 'just in case' it's a bit too sad aha!

Such sweet names too, we haven't quite decided yet, it's too hard Grin

I'm so disorganised compared to last time Confused
When I had my Dd, I had all the
Nursery furniture bought, nursery all painted and lovely, had all her clothes, everything! All done by about 26/27 weeks.
This time round the spare room that will become DC2's room is still full of boxes from when we moved in 7 months ago, I haven't bought any furniture, so all his clothes (mostly all given to us by friends who've recently had boys!) are still in big carrier bags, I've bought a car seat, a new bouncer and the doubles kit for my pram....that's it Confused and I have 11 weeks to go Blush

Allibear · 16/08/2016 13:10

I feel a little too organised! 11 weeks is still a long time, I'm sure it'll be fun to sort all the stuff out before baby comes Smile

I'm 18. 19 in October and over 5 months pregnant. I feel a bit sad scared petrefied about having a baby. I've lived in care so don't want to make the same mistakes my mum did. I know exactly how your feeling. But I'm looking at it as a blessing x

Allyx123 · 01/09/2016 09:45

I'm 18 (will be 19 when the baby comes) and 6 weeks pregnant, so scary but so exciting. xxx

Don't Worry Your not Alone.!!Smile

I am just turned 25 and pregnant with my second baby.! My son is only 10 Months old.! Feeling so nervous about having 2 babies both under the age of 1 & 1/2 and both in nappies.! Boyfriend is so reassuring he is taking it really well and is so excited I can't help but worry.!
