Anyone simply not feel movements?

Hello all,
I am currently 24+5 and yet to feel any movement.
I have an anterior placenta so know this makes it hard but I have literally felt nothing. The information I have read says to contact midwife if you have reduced or altered movement but I wouldn't know this as I simply don't feel any. Has anyone else not felt anything? I'm starting to worry hugely now and feeling bad that I don't feel anything, I would love to! GP today heard heartbeat and said contact midwife for reduced and altered movement and didn't grasp the fact I have no movement.

No advice but watching this with interest, in a similar boat and getting anxious. Measurements at the 20 week scan seemed ok except for slightly small head (10th centile) and bought a doppler to listen to heartbeat when I am having a freak out (trying to limit to once per week) so just wondering whats taking too long... I dont even have an anterior placenta....

I'm 29+3 now, also with an anterior placenta, and being so thoroughly kicked it's hard to get comfortable! I didn't really get anything but occasional indistinguishable flutters until about 24/25 weeks though, then I went to a music festival... turns out my baby rather likes heavy metal and hasn't stopped headbanging since!

3rd pregnancy, 3rd anterior placenta! Don't panic, it won't be long and you'll feel the baby as much as everyone else, probably by 25 weeks in my experience!

I'm 22 weeks now and feeling the occasional movement but nothing much, and if it wasn't a subsequent baby I would probably mistake it for wind 😂

3rd pregnancy here too, am 24 weeks and only just starting to get movements.

Yes I had an anterior placenta too and was in a lot for reduced movements! Hardly felt a thing until I was very big. Ended up inducing me because I went in one time too many for reduced movements I was 40+10 though so understandable :)

Like PP I too am on #3 with my third anterior placenta. With DC #1 I remember going to my 24 week appt and being asked about movement and looking blankly at the MW I think I started to feel them not long after this.

DC #2 was completely different. Despite anterior placenta I felt them from about 13 weeks. And the did not stop!

I am now 22 weeks with DC #3 and have felt definite movement for the past week or so but nothing consistent yet. The movement this time feels completely different to the other two. A lot more towards the back, IYSWIM and in the foof but I am assuming this is just to do with how the baby is positioned.

If you read my comments on the anterior placenta thread, I went my whole pregnancy without feeling any real movement. My dd is 18 months now so it's not always a bad sign x

With my daughter I had an anterior placenta and felt movement at 16 weeks, on this pregnancy I don't know where the placenta is but I haven't felt anything at nearly 18 weeks .

Had an anterior with my daughter and it was a nightmare. Could hardly feel anything ever right up until the final days. Was in for reduced movement a lot. This pregnancy has been very different. APs are a pain in the arse.

I agree 100%, on my second pg now and praying it's different
