I am 40+3 so hardly in the early stages of pg, when the risks of vit A are highest, and AFAIK that's the only problem with haggis in pg (the liver content). dh thinks a small serving won't harm. Can I or can I not have haggis for supper??

what about veggie haggis instead?

Oooh I've had haggis whilst pregnant, not even thought about the liver content.. to be honest I didnt even know that there was liver in it.. prefer not to think about what is in it to be honest... I'm sure it wont hurt, its not like its pure liver, and you are going to eat it for every meal!!

Ooooh haggis... the pub near us does lovely battered haggis in a whisky sauce... hmmmm

2Happy I'm sure it's fine - I've got a big one in the fridge for tomorrow! Anyway, haven't you heard of that traditional Scottish way to induce labour - haggis, a shot of malt then a good seeing to??

!
