Any of you got any great tips on how to overcome total exhaustion!! third pregnancy last two not successful.

I am completely floored by how tired I feel!!
Work full time travel 1hr 40 each day there and back. Sickness has yet to kick in (which in last two pgncys was horrendous - three months of all day/all night sickness still managed to come to work just used alot of holiday. Can't wait for that to start as well. Tried EVERYTHING!last time and nothing helped.

Did the going to bed as soon as you come in from work yesterday but still really need to sleep.

How do you go an sleep on your lunch break, pretend to not throw up!! while looking green, blow up like a balloon eat dry cereal and drink lucozade and keep it a secret???

Advise needed please!!!

OMG I can't imagine such a commute and f/t work and two kids.
It would floor an elephant.
I think you really must only do the absolute minimum in all departments.

Can you work from home?
change your hours so the commute is quicker? I leave home before 7am to avoid traffic (and mornings are so awful I might as well get up early anway) and am home by 4-ish for a nap, then dinner, then bed.
Cut all non-essential activity (cooking, housework).

I told work I was suffering from low blood sugar to explain the constant biscuit consumption but (touch wood) I'm not actually vomiting so don't have to explain that.

It can also be a really good use of holiday to take a little time off every week - either a long weekend or take a half-day on Wednesady mornings and lie in.

i think judging by our history you NEED to take it easy ...go to your gp and ask advice. This one will be fine but you need to loook after number 1

I am going to docs in friday morning to start the process so I may ask her what she thinks.

Last time she just said live your life from day to day - don't know how practical this really is considering.

My commute is not 1hr 40 mins each way( not very clear of me) in total each day this what I travel.

Can't work from home - office noisy busy and have lots of staff to manage so no time to reast during the day. Office right next to kitchen (great for cooking smells when the old sickness kicks in!!!!).

Although it is very early, can you have a word with your HR department (the health and safety person if they have one) in strict confidence?
They might be able to do something to help you, such as providing a place for you to lie down if you need to, moving your desk away from the smells, changing your hours so that you travel at non peak times and get a seat etc.

That is a very good idea. I might try that. Thanks
