Morning all,
I've had a persistent ti since being 8 weeks pregnant with DC3 which has been resistant to six treatments of antibiotics. Funnily enough though, I haven't had any symptoms, they've all been picked up in repeat urine tests.
Since yesterday evening though, I've had diarrhoea, constant lower back pain and waves of period type pain across my lower abdomen. I can't say that they're contraction-like as the waves are literally every ten to thirty seconds. I'm currently sitting in my third bath since 9pm last night and the co-codamol isn't touching the pain. I also have considerable pressure as if I need a poo and I feel very tender between my legs if that makes sense? Baby, whose movements I don't feel very often due to an anterior placenta, has been extremely active overnight.
I'll be ringing the midwife as soon as they turn they're mobiles on at 9am. Pointless ringing earlier as the call goes through to the maternity ward and they'll want me to come straight in. I have two ds's to get to school by 8.50 so it's just not possible. Luckily, my dad is hot-footing it over by half eight to do the school run.
Problem is, I've never been in labour or had so much as a Braxton hick in my previous pregnancies as they've been planned sections at 37 weeks. I have no idea what is causing this pain and I'm getting increasingly scared.
Not sure why I'm posting, may just need a bit of hand holding until I can speak to the midwife.
