Just that, what would you recommend please? I'm looking online and have some thoughts, but would really appreciate hearing from others and what their absolute essential, couldn't live without, awesome items were?

Thank you :)

When my sister had her baby she took some DiaryDoll pants with her - they've got a waterproof panel in to contain some of the bleeding but are soft and washable. Said they were a god send!

Lip balm and a water spray for my face (I gave birth in a heatwave!)

Oh Lordy it's all such a beautiful experience isn't it lol. I'm due August so am anticipating heat. I need to get shopping I think.

I'm so excited to meet my baby, I just wish I could fast forward a little lol.

Already said but yes to Lip balm, water spray, button front nightdresses for feeding (pjs are a pain to start), flip flops, clean t shirt for DH if he wants skin to skin, carrier bags for clean clothes, sanex 0% shower gel so baby gets to know your smell and not that of a highly perfumed shower gel Smile

Take pain killers. It can take an age for nurses to give you any, as they wait for doctor to prescribe some
