6 week scan only measuring 2mms and no heartbeat.

Have to go back next friday, but it dosen't sound good does it?

My scan today at 6 weeks baby measured at 2.6mm so 2 isn't far off. They certainly seemed to think all was well. We did see heartbeat but apparently this is v early xx

Thanks Edie. Have had awful cramps as I posted on our due in board. But not sure if it is just my bowels!

No further bleeding as yet anyway. Would just like to fast forward to next friday, really.

Was wondering how you were doing today Floss, thanks for the update. Poor you,I know this week will really drag but the lack of bleeding at this stage is a positive sign, be heartened!

Thank you Maiou. Its a bit like being on a rollarcoaster isn't it? I'm dreading work on Monday. I think I'm going to be less than useless. Also most people know I am pregnant at work and I'm not sure whether to say about the scan or not. I'll just have to see how I go when I get there. Sorry I am rambling.

Floss, I had one at around 5/6 weeks. Just looked and they actually wrote on the scan notes that as it was before 6 weeks gestation there wasn't anything to see/measure. It was definitely about 5+5 as well.

I am so, so lucky, I've never been through this; but I really feel for you Flossam. If people at work know you are pg I wouldn't be shy about saying that things are not going to plan just at the moment - if the situation arises and you feel comfortable saying it anyway. A bit of support at work may well help you get through the week.

Just to update, I have had no more cramping, no bleeding and my scan is tomorrow. MS on and off, not actual vomiting but very very nauseaus. So feeling hopeful but trying not to be too optimistic.

Hi flossam, just popped over from sept thread.........glad to hear spotting and cramps have stopped........fingers crossed for tomorrow!!!

Thanks TOD. Bit more cramping again today. I really am not sure it isn't in my mind a lot of these pains. Ah well. Not long now till we know whats going on.

How did it go Flossam? Hope you are OK?

My GP told me this week that I'm 6 weeks and that it would be too early to see anything on a scan (have had 2 m/c's so very anxious!). I have to admit, I don't want to go for a scan until at least 8 or 10 weeks just in case it's too early and I get disheartened.

I really feel for you and hope you managed to get through the week at work... let us know how you got on?

Hi lady's in need of some help, as I my self, am confused of what's going on with me, as I was told by early stages of pregnancy unit I was 5weeks and the baby was 2mm due to bleeding I had a scan and the baby was to small to be seen or hear any heartbeat.. So I previously went back for another scan two weeks later Nd nothing has changed.. So she said I will miscarry, I've already had a miscarriage I know how it feels like, I still feel like I'm pregnant and I don't want to miscarry again.. So I'm hoping in the next two weeks that the baby will grow before I have a sugery to remove everything.. What do you lady's think any advice would be great, I have been spotting/ brown blood.. Fingers crossed! I have hope! X

I'm in the same position. Have a post on here. I was devastated. Did nothing but cry. Mine was 3.5mm but no heartbeat either. Just try and stay positive. I don't go back for scan to 23rd and my nerves r wrecked. Iv been cramping whole way through pregnancy but now every twinge I sending me to the loo to check.
