Good luck to your daughter Smile I know a young girl, she's 14 and a mum.. She's a brilliant mummy to her little one Smile everyone was way too quick to judge her, she still goes to school aswell Star

I took a test on the Friday and it was negative by the Monday I had the feintest of feint lines ever... I spent 40 quid on tests over the 4 days that followed. Even though I kept getting feint lines... I became obsessed. Try a first response on Wednesday maybe?
I honestly wish that I never wasted that money and didn't get so caught up on it. but my point is on the Friday I was getting negatives by Monday I was getting feint lines, I could of tested Saturday and Sunday but I probably would of still got negative result and wasted even more money and I'm 8 weeks pregnant now. Waiting a few more days will save you money and give you a more reliable result. Fingers crossed for you!

Thanks oscarsmummy Smile she 's very mature but still a selfish teen! I'm supporting her 100% but at same time not making it easy for her either.

I do hope you get a positive result Hun, sounds like you want this so badly but I agree with the others that you need to try and sit tight n wait a bit longer n try another test. It could be that your hcg levels just aren't high enough yet.

Fingers crossed here Smile

Emily I have wasted so much money on tests too! But the one I posted recently, someone else has also seen a faint line when she holds the test in different angles and lights? Could this be the start of a positive forming or am i just hoping too much?. Congratulations and I wish you the best throughout your pregnancy and after your baby has arrived
Sparklesnpearls, it won't be easy for her but all she needs is her mum supporting her which by the sounds of it, she has that

I think you should take it as a negative at moment and test again in a few days when the line should be getting darker that way youve already prepared yourself for the worst situation. Sometimes when you really want something your eyes can deceive you. It was different for me because I wasn't trying for a baby (I'm still in university) I wasn't looking for a positive and even though I had a feint line if you tilted it in the light I was still taking it as a negative until my line got darker. If you still think you can see a feint line in a few days try a digital that way there is no squinting at it and wondering other than that first response test they are usually good.
I don't know what the normal time for testing is so I don't know if I tested early but I'm 8+3 weeks and I first got my feint line 6+1 week ago.
Hope this helps. Good luckFlowers

How long have you been ttc op?

oscarsmummyy · 14/06/2016 17:06

I've started getting some dull pain in my belly, nothing too bad. I won't test until Friday but I'm sure there's a faint line. I've been trying for nearly 11 months ( no where near as long as most people as some people it can take years ) but it feels like forever xx

Sorry OP.

Northernlurker · 15/06/2016 19:28

I'm sorry to hear that OP, it's so disappointing of course.

11 months is a fair while to be trying, I can see why you're fed up but it's not an exceptional length of time to be trying and assuming you're not well over 40, there's still every chance you will fall pregnant in the next 12 months.

sparklesnpearls · 15/06/2016 22:54

Sorry OP Sad

oscarsmummyy · 16/06/2016 20:38

Thank you for your kind words everyone. Still abit upset as I was so sure I saw a line Sad we will keep trying until we get our babyStarStarxxxx
