I'm 29 weeks and not started buying yet... I gave EVERYTHING away after dd1 so starting again. I now know not to go mad and will just be buying basics... In our wonderful world of amazon you can get anything delivered the next day so I'm not panicking.
Here's my list so far:
Mosses basket with mattress and 2 sheets
Bottles plus next stage teats as dd1 didn't get on with slow flow.
Milton steriliser
Nappies and wipes (we're using cloth again so needs buying in advance)
X2 sleeping bags
Bouncy chair
A sling (we're going with a caboo to start)
A car seat.
A bottle of baby wash
Plus vests, baby grows, bibs and muslins.
That's literally my entire list. We still have dd's cot that will need a new mattress but I plan on baby being in the mosses basket to start so not stressing about that until we need to.
We also won't be buying a pram this time as I can probably count on one hand how often it was used last time... we'll stick with the sling for now and if I decide to get a pram ill just get my butt onto kiddicare and order one.
No baby bath as I found it a pain in my back (literally!), with filling, emptying, moving and storing etc. this time we'll be bathing in the sink or supported in the big bath. Might consider a bath support type thing but we'll see.
If I learned anything from dd1 it's that newborns really don't need much. I plan on getting a play gym etc, but again it's the same with the cot mattress.... won't be needed in the early weeks so no need to have it cluttering up the place until then!
