I have no signs of labor and due in 8 days!

I'm due in 8 days and I've had no Braxton hicks throughout my pregnancy let alone even now! I haven't lost my mucous plug or any sign of mucous plug I just feel like I did at 20 weeks minus the large belly and wriggly baby and heaviness! Is this normal? Has anyone had no symptoms and there waters broke? I just really don't want to be over due and induced.

With DS2 birth 11 days ago at 37+4 I had no signs when going to bed. No show as with my first, no head engaged. My water broke at 3 am and got a bit of a show. He was born at 10:49pm after a momath nap in the afternoon

I'm due tomorrow and whilst I've had some braxton hicks it's not regular. Your waters may not go till well into
Labour and mucus plug could be ages yet. I'm desperate to get things going and trying some remedies but baby will come when ready. I wouldn't worry you have a while till due date yet xx

The due date is just a guide to care. A normal pregnancy is 37 to 42 weeks with most first babies appearing between 40 and 42 weeks.

If you can stop thinking of it as overdue or late and see it as normal, it helps.
