Going on 26 weeks... Still feel nothing :-( not a thing.. Had my 25 week antenatal appointment.. Mw said all was good

Sounds normal to me ESP if first baby

Hi, I have an anterior placenta too and was warned that I might not be able to feel baby until much further on in pregnancy (30+ weeks) and that it might be hard picking up sounds on doppler. If your midwife is happy, I wouldn't worry.

I'm 29 weeks and it's getting baby to stop kicking me so I can sleep that is now the issue! I'm sure you'll feel something in the next few weeks. Have you tried lying down and drinking a glass of coke and really concentrating on it? I don't notice baby throughout the day when I'm up and active, but when lying on my back in bed I get some quite forceful kicks!

My placenta is anterior too - am 30 weeks and only really beginning to feel regular movement now. I don't feel much during the day but if I lie on my back in the evening I can feel strong flutters.

I'm anterior too and it's my first so nothing to compare it with. However I do feel some movement though only at certain times. More so when I'm going to sleep or when I wake up. I'm growing as I should be and baby was moving all over at 20 weeks.

I'm getting booted as I'm writing this it's like they know! This time of night is pretty common for me.

Posted too soon. I don't feel loads, and usually only when I'm on my own and really focusing on it. As long as midwife is happy then I am.

I'm anterior but weird as felt movements early on, which goes against what peeps say. I haven't had any probs with it OP and at the end of last trimester. Good Luck and congrats x

I had an anterior placenta last time - didn't feel ANYTHING until 26 weeks, and definitely nothing regular until 30 weeks. I remember being so disappointed, but really once it started I hated the kicks Blush

Anterior here, and I actually started feeling sensations really early about 16 weeks which is bizarre given it's my first pregnancy. When we found out at the scan my partner said 'we should have guessed, you've described all your movements as flutters except for 'booted in the kidneys' and 'kicked in the cervix'..'

Frustrating because I'm aware I'm pressing on/flexing the placenta when I bend though....
