Hi new to all of this so please bare with me!
Due on my period yesterday have had a weird feeling all week really sore boobs which is not normal for me and of a night feeling quite nauseas. Could all be in my head but decided to do a test this morning. If attached a picture don't know if it is just me but can anyone else see a faint line?!? Thank you in advance Smile

Sorry last picture not the clear one here's the better one.
The line is a lot more clearer in life and can see it is a light pink.
Going to leave it till the morning now and just do another one. Are the clear blue digital ones good? Iv heard mixed reviews.

I couldn't see it on the previous ones, but can definitely see it on these ones.

LottieDoubtie · 16/05/2016 12:42

I wasn't convinced by the first picture but that last one is clear.

Congratulations!

Wait another 2-4 days and then use a digital they aren't as sensitive as the cheap ones and you might get a false negative if you don't wait (I did!- he's 20months Grin )

StarkyTheDirewolf · 16/05/2016 12:43

That looks like a positive to me. Congratulations! I'd wait a get days before doing a CB digi, they're not sensitive at all. Get a FRER for tomorrow but I'd say you've got your bfp there Smile

cupcakequeen7 · 16/05/2016 12:52

Thank you!!!!
My bf seems a bit more convinced by this one aswell. Yeah I will wait for the clearblue one. Is it normal to be experiencing some slight niggles sort of like period pains??
I don't know if I have it in my head now though so my body's playing tricks on me Hmm
I know I will not 100% believe it until I have a clear test though.

Cupcake we are in identical positions!!

I took a test the other day, faintest of faint lines, just like your first one, took a boots digital the day after, said I am pregnant, left it for a day and did another today, still faint but ever so slightly clearer!!

I'm going to the doc today to talk about pregnancy as had a difficult one with DD and am taking a sample in. He might offer to do bloods or might say "yes your tests are enough to convince me!" Who knows. Grin good luck, keep us updated, but I can almost guarantee that that's a positive Wink so congratulations.

Can see a line on the second one too 🎉

thecatsarecrazy · 16/05/2016 15:05

I can see a faint one this time couldn't before. I would be tempted to get a digital one but I'm an impatient bugger. Showed up "pregnant" when I did one day before period was due for me.

Wellwellwell · 16/05/2016 15:44

Yes for the cramping being a possible sign. I am probably about 4 days ahead of you. Cramps worse than normal period and going on for longer. Happened with pregnancy for my DD too which meant I didn't test for ages cause I was sure period was coming! Worse this time though.

cupcakequeen7 · 16/05/2016 16:10

Oh I didn't know that cramping could actually be a sign! Decided I'm going to do another cheap one in the morning and hold for the digital one until Wednesday don't want to waste too much money on the digital just yet. And evans if I actually am I need to also go to Drs this is my first but I am taking medications which I am sure are ok when pregnant but want to just double check.

Hi cupcake, looks like a BFP to me! Congrats. Was in a similar position to you, took a mid-range test that said negative (I was 3 days late but am usually like clockwork) but when I still didn't come on next day I bought a cheapy one from the pound shop and it was positive.
Save your money and don't bother with the digital one, the threshold for detecting HCG in the expensive ones is actually a lot lower than the bog standard "dip" ones. If you need more reassurance just buy another cheapy brand (mine were 2 for £1!) and make sure you use them with your first pee of the day x

Angrybird234 · 17/05/2016 06:36

That should say expensive ones have a much higher threshold! Doh! Think these digital ones are a gimmick really as you can be paying up to 10 times more for a stick you pee on that is less sensitive to HCG than a simple urine dip strip.

wineandcheeseplease · 17/05/2016 06:37

I can see the line!!

BearGryllsHasaBigRope · 17/05/2016 06:41

That looks like a positive result to me

cupcakequeen7 · 17/05/2016 10:43

Iv done one first thing this morning it's a bit clearer. Just wish this line would be a bit brighter!! Can't settle its all that's on my mind!! think I may get a digi one for tomorrow morning to try and get to the bottom of this 🙈

Definitely a line. And a line is a line is a line!

I got positives on cheap tests like that and now have a three year old and a one year old. Congratulations!

cupcakequeen7 · 17/05/2016 10:54

scarydinosaurs what did you do did you get a digi one or did you just go the doctors of them tests? I'm unsure of what I'm supposed to do next.

OP posts:
HaggisnNeeps · 17/05/2016 10:56

I'd say that's a definite positive...congratulations :)

mrsmugoo · 17/05/2016 10:56

Doctors don't do tests in this day and age I'm afraid.

They will tell you to wait a week and if no bleeding test again.

I know it's an agonising wait but either way, you can't do anything to influence the situation.

cupcakequeen7 · 17/05/2016 11:23

I know they won't do a test but I'm in medication so I need to let them know but I don't know when is going to be too soon like will they tell me to wait and see?

bumblebee86 · 17/05/2016 12:21

Congratulations!

bumblebee86 · 17/05/2016 12:22

You could try a superdrug one, when I got a positive test, I did a few as didn't believe them and the Superdrug one was darker than the cheap ones.

mrsmugoo · 17/05/2016 12:55

If you're on medication tell them sooner rather than later. A feint line is still a line!
