Sex in pg - once a week, once a month, or "sex? what sex?"

Hi all

This is personal, sorry, but I need some feedback here...

DH seems to think that we don't make love often. I'm 5 mo pg and it seems to me that 1x a week or so is quite an accomplishment!

Is everyone else managing this more often??? PLS GIVE ME SOME AMMO

29 weeks here and sex ONCE (at Christmas) in entire pregnancy. And it was a bit crap.

Does anyone else have far less of a problem with DIY than with actual sex- it's so much nicer not to have to heave your bulk around and, er, deal with someone else being there....

DH and I have practically never managed the 3 x per week anyway. I am amazed at the energy of these 'average' couples.

(you can tell I am not exactly a maniac in the marital sack- 12 MONTHS with none at all after DS1. Mind you, we were thinking of getting divorced. After that it was up to a torrid once per 1/2 months!!)

First sign of pg for me was going off it totally.

Usually 'get there' iykwim without fail, but couldn't raise a flicker of interest from the day my period was due till baby born. But then, strangely, was desperate for it almost immediately afterwards! (Not normal, I know)

Had this conversation with a few of my friends over the years - it varies enormously from one person to another.

One of my friends has 3 kids and was always rampant in the 2nd trimester - so much so that she claims her husband kept avoiding her as she was making such unreasonable demands on him.

She's the one who only does it about once every 6 months now!

both pregnancies i wanted it all the time i get to about 4 months goes to once a week get to 6 months its NO SEX - think maybe i want it sooooo much cuz i know im not aving it doies that make sense?
