These dresses are lovely and I always thought I'd put my baby in the odd bit of designer... But oh my goodness. The pricing!

I need help - someone hold me back from buying the blue dress. It's gorgeous and I can't afford it, not even if I ate soup for a week

That blue dress is lovely, but not £220 worth of lovely. Go to zara or some where and get a lovely much cheaper dress, they only wear them about twice.

You'll put it on once. Then she'll be sick on it after twenty minutes, and you'll be swearing at the label saying 'Dry-cleaning only'... When you get it back from the dry cleaners, it'll be too small.

Check eBay for second hand dresses instead, bought by people like you who didn't reign themselves in - you'll save a fortune.

Who buys stuff that expensive that will probably fit the baby for a matter of weeks?!

H and m zara next river island all do some beautiful things high street prices I wouldn't pay more than this to be traumatised when baby is sick or get a them dirty!
Also if you have a look people on Facebook and ebay sell lovely 'spanish' baby clothes and they Do lovely fussy girls dressed and 'prince george' style clothes for boys ☺

It would be cheaper to pay someone who could sew to make that .. And it would be far more personal .

You do realise that your baby is guaranteed to have a poospolsion as soon as you put that dress on her?

My Ds is six months old. Today he wore three outfits. Was sick on the first after 90 minutes. Poo explosion on the second then the third got sweet potato all and I mean ALL over it when he got hold of the loaded weaning spoon.
The most I have spent on an outfit for him was 29.5O for a romper. That now feels a wasteful!
Use the pattern as a starting point and get online shopping. You could kit baby out in a whole age range for 220!

It's lovely, but babies grow so quickly. I suppose you could always hang it on your wall as a nice decoration when baby has grown out of it in two weeks?

I thought it was £22, which would be a waste of money in my book. Might have to have a sit-down now.

Have a look at these , very cute and less than a tenth of the price.

Though personally, if I wanted to splash out I would go for a couple of super-nice rompers or baby grows, which you are more likely to get good use out of.
