dh will get £100 per week when i have baby, can we get a top up from some where? if not we can not afford for him time off.

i dont get anything as i dont work

im not 100% sure but i dont think so. its prob better to use holiday instead. or a week of each. thats what we will have to do as dh doesnt get any

thanks bubble, we really didnt want to use his holidays as he as to take a week at sping bank and 3 days at xmas, so he hell not have enought left.

tax credits people should give you more pretty sharpish after having the baby,if you claim them. ring them as soon as humanly possible sfter setteling home. they gave me more within first week.it may help?

but no, i dont think there is a top-up.my dp went back to work after 3 days-we couldnt live off £100

i know, its not enough. i think they are doing something about it for a year or so's time, however that wont help you

have you claimed a maternity grant if youre eligible? it can be claimed up to 3 months after birth.

You may be entitled to some maternity pay although you don't work - have you checked with job center?
