everybody says its going to be girl and its doing my head in!!

im 21 weeks today we had the 20 week scan last tuesady and we have to go back tomorrow as at the last scan on tuesady the baby was lying right under my belly button wich was putting shadows on the scan, their back is against my belly and they have their legs tucked up to their chest so we have to go back as they couldnt do all the measurements and as their legs were right up to their chest and crossed they couldnt tell the sex either.

But everyones telling me its a girl because
ive had morning sickness till 19 weeks and with ds it stopped at 12 weeks.

Im also carrying it all at the front unlike with ds it was ALL OVER!!

im very emotional all the time and cry at anything and i have very bad mood swings unlike with ds i never cried and wasnt very hormonal.

and im being so picky with food, the smell of somefoods really make me ill.

its really doing my head in everyone saying its a girl as i feel everyones going to feel disapointed if its a boy. Also the chance is small for a girl as dp has 4 step brothers and 1 step sister and his dad has 3 brothers so the chance of a girl is very slim.

What does everyone think?

Just have fun with it. Take their "predictions" as an invitation to rant and gush over being pregnant. Figure they opened the door to discussion, so just go on about piles, constipation, vomit, stretchmarks, and all the other wonderful things about pregnancy.

well by that chart thingy it says a boy will hopefully find out tomorrow i just hope they havent got their legs crossed!!

a load of nonsense. everyone said the same thing to me, too, including the midwives fgs. in the end i believed them and had a wonderful surprise when my beautiful ds was born.

redbull, just wanted to sympathise. I'm 22wks and everybody says I'm definitely having a girl. I think they should use their psychic powers more constructively.

I couldn't see what I'm having on the scan- bit like yours, the tech said it was 'the most awkward baby' he'd ever scanned.

How come we don't see you over on May 07 anymore? I mean, I know the others are a bit weird, but me and 12YG are normal.

Oh sweetie i sympathise, ,it might sound harsh of me to say but some peoples comments about MY pregnancy frustrate the living hell out of me! Luckily my family and friends are pretty cool and didn't bother spending time guessing what bean was, they just like thinking of what bean would be like boy or girl. It's actually kinda sweet! The one that irritates me is 'oh not long left now, your so fat!' Not long left, i have another 20 weeks! That's gonna feel like 20 years in preggo time!
Anyhoo, found out i was having a girl today so everyone can stop trying to guess what bean is, cause it's a SheBean!!!

I have a DD who is 3.5 and DS who is 3mths. Everyone kept saying 'oh you must want a boy then?' as I already had a girl. I just said back 'babies are a blessing so I will be happy with either, thank you'.

That usually shut them up!!!
