MInt tea is good too.

Somebody suggested whole almonds with skins on the other day. They do seem to work and are v. yummy, much nicer than horrid remegels and gaviscon, yuck yuck.

trixymalixy · 04/01/2007 23:13

Gaviscon liquid is the only thing that works for me.

I've been drinking loads of milk as well, and my eczema has flared up, hadn't really connected the two, will have to cut back on the milk .

OK Just so you know, the fruitin stuff works and SO do the almonds!!! HOORAY!!
Mint tea after meals is good too, I've found that if I stay still after eating it's not so bad.............
Thanks! xx

Peppermint tea works a treat on mine. I know you are interested in natural remedies but Tums are also quite good (if you get desperate and end up falling off the all natural wagon)!

I find if I eat too much wheat / yeast I get really bad heartburn - you could see if there is a correlation. For excema there is a Manuka honey cream - it is awful to use as it is really sticky but works a treat - let me know if you want the web site. Actually I'd also check if it can be used in pg...
